The Extortion (2023)

Great all around. Nicely written, acted and executed.

This movie doesn't waste any time, it goes straight to the action/suspense and doesn't have any single minute wasted with annoying scenes or filler scenes or anything that doesn't advance the plot.

Very well acted, specially for me, Pablo Rago deserves a praise for his role. The dialogs are real and simple, sometimes that's the most annoying thing about argentinian films.

Another thing to say about this movie is that not one single character makes something stupid like in most movies. Every one acts real and you don't have that desire of facepalming yourself.

I really recommend you watching this movie. Time will fly by, because it keeps you hooked until the very end.

I guess if you know the books, this film hit you differently, but coming fresh from that i can say to you to stay away from it. The writing is pretty lazy and the dialogs are horrible.

I liked the premise of the film, but 15 minutes into it you start to see that is going to be a huge mistake endure the rest of the film.

Not recommended.

Overlord (2018)

Very entertaning if you have low expectations

The movie is very well made. You have to suspend your beliefs in some parts as to keep watching. Anyway, you shouldn't overthink too much when watching this types of movies.

I highly recommend it if you wanna have a fun ride.

What others reviews say about tis movie beign dumb is true in every way. Not a single decision or thing that happens makes any sense.

I started watching it with high hopes from Crowe, but in that restaurant scene, the dialog was so dumb that i couldn't take it anymore. Then i just skipped over some parts to see how it ended.

Disappoints

Started off as an interesting action thriller, but closer to the end it lost all sense, as if they were trying to put all that was left out during the film into 20 minutes.

The acting was okey as was the action, but the plot is very bland and an cliched.

Watch it if you wanna be entertained for an hour and a half. After that, I don't know.
