The Visit (2015)
It's ok
Not a bad movie in all honestly, quite well done in parts.
Very good premise If you suspend disbelief over some aspects.
Buy god, my god the kid who's rapping is cringe. So cringe.
It's uncomfortable to even listen too never mind watch.
It would have garnered one point more had this been omitted. You litterally have to skip past it.
Overall it has some cool and creepy aspects to it and it a enjoyable movie.
M Night Shyamalans movies can be quite hit and miss but this one has a lot more hits than misses.
The grandparents are well acted and creepy.
One thing tho, since when if you start recording someone do they have to start performing monologues to the camera?
They don't.
7/10.
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Good, not great.
Bale was awesome, Hemsworth was his likeable self, Portman was ok, always felt like all the characters were disposable tho and the post credits offered nothing of note, a solid 7 but could have been so much better.
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Incredible
Absolutely amazing, from start to finish this is the epitome of a blockbuster, glad they waited and refined the finer details. Kick the tyres and light the fires.
The Exorcist (1973)
The Greatest Movie Ever.
The Exorcist, easily one of the greatest films ever made. Everything about this movie is absolutely fantastic.
I first saw this classic back in the late 90's when it was rereleased in cinemas, it was a standard weekday night and myself and a car full of friends decided we would see what all the fuss was about. Arriving at the cinema in the centre of a busy city there was a queue around the block. There was a Nun outside of the theatre handing out bibles reciting bible passages and encouraging people not to go in and watch it. That had quite a profound effect on my friends and I, it set the tone for the evenings festivities as no one quite knew what we were letting ourselves in for. Upon viewing this epic masterpiece of cinematography and directing we were in a state of awe, there was no rustling of popcorn, no talking, no slurping of drinks, and no mobile phones (it was the 90s after all) and although the cinema was completely packed every single person was engrossed and engaged with the constant barrage and spectacle of the most relentlessly unforgiving movie ever made.
I don't think that I will ever experience anything quite like that again in a cinema. It was perfect.
The movie stayed with me for weeks and weeks after and it always seems new and different each time I watch it. It is the quintessential horror movie and doesn't need to rely on gore or jump scares to succeed in being utterly terrifying.
If you chose to watch this movie or are undecided, please do. Turn the lights down, the volume up and have no distractions and you will be in for a treat.
And remember, what an excellent day for an exorcism.

Stop hating.
Ignore the haters, I'm a die hard Jordan fan and hardcore bulls fan but this movie was good wholesome family fun, I enjoyed it.
