The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: The Girl with the Diamond Earrings (2022)
Show Yourself!
First off, let's all just take a moment and applaud Queens Crystal and Garcelle, for not only taking the reins this week and exposing a demon, but for standing toe to toe with said demon without even a flicker of a flinch from either of them.
Wow, wow. To literally stare down at such a vile display of contempt for (let's be clear, there is no "alleged" when it comes to the victims; they won their cases, they ARE victims) victims that were defrauded by Erika's husband, and then hold your composure, well - that's why I applaud them. I would've torn Erika apart, honey, let me tell you!
I feel so incredibly horrible that the victims, their families, and their friends are now being dragged back into this to relive the worst periods of their lives. And then to hear Erika only cares about herself? I truly hold so much sorrow for them. I do.
And then to insist that she shouldn't feel bad because the victims "dogged you". You show yourself as such an expensive figure; one that you became from riding their coattails... yet you can't understand their anger? Maybe show them you care and they'll stop "dogging" you, you dog.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Altitude Adjustment (2022)
Extremely Hard To Watch
I love The Real Housewives. It's 100% a guilty pleasure I've learned to no longer feel guilty for enjoying - the luxurious lifestyle of these vapid and petty women was (for the most part) something I could simultaneously laugh at and envy over. The entertainment value was palpable in this household.
However, the past episode was when the usual entertaining petty jabs became dark and malicious beyond the point of pleasure viewing.
The demoralizing attitude of Erika and Diana toward Sutton was vicious beyond the point of bullying; it became harassment. What added to the harshness of the episode was how most of the women refused to deflect the nasty attacks and slurs from such a heartless coworker/friend.
I have NEVER felt more uncomfortable watching this series, besides the abuse/suicide scandal from season 2. These people need to do better or hold others accountable when their friends refuse to be as such. Wow.
American Horror Story: The Future Perfect (2021)
What in the literal f--?
No, but seriously, this episode had four writers? That's embarrassing... I would be ashamed to have my name attached to this year's production. Also, that ending isn't fit to conclude an episode, let alone an entire season...
The Stranger (2020)
Hooked!
This is an edge of your seat thriller that works very well on it's presented platform.
Each bite sized episode packs a wallop of a punch. There is surprisingly good character development, fantastic direction, wonderful acting from everyone involved (so far), with impressive cinematography to boot.
I'm hooked and can't wait to see where this story leads.
