Stupidity (2003)
Funny but frightening
When I saw the film the audience was laughing quite a bit.
In other parts there was a scary silence. As the film point out, stupidity is really funny but it's also running our world. Film travels from some of the more intellectual angles to some of the more trivial. We really enjoyed it all though we came and argued about the issue.
I never knew where idiot and moron came from. Not sure that I'm better off knowing. All in all and enjoyable take on a never-before broached topic.
Now, with Bush re-elected, Stupidity is more relevant than ever.
Too relevant.
Why Can't I Be a Movie Star? (2001)
Revolutionary approach
This is really a crazy film. Funny at parts, jagged and edgy at others.
Never boring. I wanted it go longer which is a good sign.
They could have done more with the sound. What's interesting is that Trailervision is suggesting that the movie trailer is it's own form of entertainment. I think this film proves it. But you certainly don't want every trailer to be a movie. But when you think about some of the movies out there, I'll take a Trailervision trailer any day. I found the story to be a little insane but I believe that was intended. Santa Claus is coming to town was probably my favorite.
A must see.
