Where to start? Probably with my bad English ;)
I'm a big fan of movies that re-create the 1920s till 1970s. This is how I found about Zodiac. I had only seen the trailer, nothing more, I knew nothing about it.
This was the first movie that had me gripped every single second. The opening began already with 1960s music, which gave me immediately the 1960s feelings. That is also one of the reasons this movie is fantastic, everything you see is literally from the 1960s-1970s. The cars, clothing, whole interiors, little details you probably wouldn't even notice.
After the opening scene where something importants happened, I couldn't take me eyes of the screen. I needed to know how it would end. Like one of the main characters said: "I need to know who he is. I I need to stand there, I need to look him in the eye, and I need to know that it's him.", I had the same.
This is also David Finchers best work, in my opinion. I'm a big fan of Fight Club but this is so much better if it comes to directing. The movie is beautifully shot.
Well, I could talk like this much longer but I won't. If you haven't seen it yet, SEE IT! For myself, I have seen it now for almost like 50 times, and it became my favorite movie of all time.
