Nobody (2021)
Just a really bad movie.....
Another one of these unrealistic fists and bullet flying movies with the requisite level of gore for the masses. The fights are like a Daniel Craig Bond fight scene on steroids but with the cutting and hushing blood those movies lacked. One is supposed to buy that a man with a very adventurous path is willingly throwing away his family life for mindless violence with people he could have likely talked his way out of if he had tried. There is a reason you never hear about the circumstances of this movie never happening its because they never do. They had a large budget with lots of good actors and scenery and the possibility of a conflict with bad guys but they did not have a story nor a script. A story with actual spycraft and intrigue with good dialogue like a LaCarre-type story brought to the USA would have been so much better. Its all a toss the cliches into the movie and let the appeal of Odenkirk take you to the end of the movie. Sadly, even Saul's appeal did not take me to the end of the movie as I left it halfway. Watching people throw away their once pleasant and nice life for nothing is not appealing to me. Stay away if you value your time.
Twilight (1998)
It's Paul Newman
Paul Newman is in every scene and in almost every frame of this film in 1998. That's enough to love this film. It's Paul Newman.
Have Gun - Will Travel: The Prophet (1960)
In teresting story and excellent performance
Shepperd Strudwick Colonel Benjamin Nunez mastered George C. Scott's 'Patton' voice and timbre many years before the film was made. I think it is an intriguing story about a military office who betrays his country and trains the enemy. For that reason alone it is worth watching. Overall, Boone takes a back seat and lets Strudwick take over the show. There is more action than the usual "Have Gun Will Travel" so there are at least a couple good reasons to hang in there until the end.
Cheyenne: Born Bad (1957)
Wright King fans should watch this episode.
Wright King is the friendly and affable sidekick to Steve McQueen in his series 'Wanted Dead or Alive'. He was always welcome addition to every episode even though he did not always fit within the story. Well, you will see an entirely different side of Wright in this episode, the polar opposite of his good guy roles.
He plays a bad seed son who rolls into town and gets himself in between a family crisis falling for the sister of Wright's character. King is excellent with a curled lip and very nasty disposition with wild eyes and he probably could have played the bad guy more often and more effectively than many who did.
Wagon Train: The Matthew Lowry Story (1959)
The Music
Well, I have seen this episode so many time I am not the best person to review the story except to say it holds your interest and the characters are full and thoughtful and well played...what I am struck with this the score...it is one of the best episode scores I have heard in a television program...proabably was used in a film...kind of reminds me of the score from "The Big Trail"...but, this is all from memory...anyways...enjoy the episode...we did
Fortitude (2015)
Believe the Negative Reviews
If you have just started Season #1, please quit now. Do not waste any more time. Please go back before you waste any more of your life. If you go past episode 4 of Season #1, on your deathbed, you will be wanting those hours back to go bowling, prune roses on a hot humid day, or shop for batteries at Radio Shack. This dreck is such a huge waste of production money it makes my heart hurt for all the decent productions out there which could make much better use of the investment. But, if you are the type of loser who spends hours watching "The Walking Dead" you may like it. In that case, you are already a zombie and it doesn't matter if you waste a minute or a lifetime of time.
