Really good atmospheric film! Suspense is nicely built up and held my attention quite well. The acting is very effective; yet at times lacked some intensity that might have been more appropriate. Although maybe that was just the way the characters were written. Very nice moody soundtrack that doesn't stand out too much. Certain scenes Border on gratuitous, but I think it does fit the story. Don't watch it with your parents unless you like discomfort. I felt it was one of those movies that ends, and I'm like "that's it." Ending was still good though. I wish the story was elaborated a little more is all. A little extra could have put this movie over the top I think.

Spring Breakers, while being almost too over the top in a few ways, still managed to be an interesting work. I'd really like to give it a 6.5, but i can't. I think this movie does a good job at maintaining artistic integrity; even though it is almost like a soft porn. But if you have ever been to spring break or a rowdy college party you probably know that this isn't far off. So if you are appalled at this kind of stuff, you should never let your children leave home. I think this movie is a metaphor for people going to spring break and unleashing the most disturbing part of their life. Soundtrack is pretty alright and the cinematography is well done. Franco is the highlight of the film. He's one of the most inconsistent and bizarre actors ever, but, I still kind of like him.

This has to be one of the funniest most original horror films that I have ever seen! I own this title and i've seen it about 4 times, and every time i'm like "i forgot how much i love this movie!". However if you like traditional slasher horror movies this might seem kind of lame. I kind of think most horror movies are lame so.....I'm not even a fan of Eli Roth's other movies. I rarely give movies 10 stars and i'm not doing it to boost the overall rating. This movie just has some kind of special quality to it. I would say more but i don't want to do any spoiling. I hope that people will give this movie a chance and not expect anything in particular from it
