Took my girlfriend to see the movie No Deposit at the ICFF Film Festival and I enjoyed it immensely. Great story, great casting and real drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. I loved Michael Pare in this film, probably his best role ever. He owns the movie along with Frank D'Angelo. Although it's a serious movie there are some very funny moments between Tony Rosato, Tony Nardi and Peter Coyote that made me laugh my pants off. In the end this movie really opens up your eyes to how banks treat people when it comes to money. If you get a chance to see No Deposit, do so, it is a great movie experience.

Finally got to watch it. I loved this film, watched it twice on the weekend. This is not a sugar coated mob film. Need to accept it for what it is - an entertaining action flick with a sprinkle of realism. The film is very well shot, visually enticing with good acting. How can you go wrong with a seasoned cast like Robert Loggia, Steven Bauer, John Savage, Margot Kidder, Nick Mancuso and many more. Also surprisingly Frank D'Angelo for a first time film performance was particularly good in his role. Lots of intense scenes with drama and classic crime scenarios that I have not seen in other mob films. I really likes some of the scenes where they threw in a few lines of Italian dialogue, it really hit home with me being of Italian background. It's not a big budget film but it's an entertaining film. I recommend it.

Frank D'Angelo is definitely the best talk show on television. The best thing about D'Angelo is he doesn't give a crap, he just says what he thinks and does what he wants. I remember an episode when he threw a financial guest off the show because he made fun of the housing and mortgage crises in the USA. The guy got what he deserved. My favourite part of the show is when Frank does his skits with his relatives and plays all the parts, and laughs at himself after the skit. The only other talk show host who did anything like that was Johnny Carson and to this day nobody tops Johnny! Shows such as Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and Letterman seem staged usually have a definite order to the program. On the Being Frank Show you don't know what to expect and that makes it funny. Like when Frank unexpectedly asks Jim Tatti, Ed The Sock or a band member a question, you never know what is going to come out of their mouths because they didn't expect to be asked anything. Surprise, surprise!!
