It takes a while to get sucked in to the story but once you do, you'll be glad you continued to watch the movie.

This movie had everything.
To think I nearly passed up the chance to watch this movie as it rated a low 5 on this web site. This site has decent guidelines 70% of the time of course it takes a certain type of person to appreciate this movie for what it is and its brilliant.
Peoples opinions on this movie do not seem to apply to the same movie I saw. I think Mark pegged his character.The movie started off good and kept me at the edge of my seat with a plot that could not be denied of is originality. This movie is worth watching and I am glad I caught it in the big screen despite the fact that so many of you lack the capacity for abstract thought. Enjoy!

Chappelle's Show

A great exaggeration of reality.

Dave Chappelle has done what many have failed to do well. He has created a GREAT show based of exaggerations of reality. I have always been a Chappelle fan from day one and the first episode I had ever saw was just confirmation of his comic genius.
He covers all the topics that have been covered a million times since the inception of TV comedy but it always has such a completely original flare to it you don't feel cheated like you are hearing recycled jokes. Thats hard to do in a world loaded with great comedians.
I watch the show every chance I get and even have some of my favorite clips downloaded on my computer so I can watch them over and over. He nails the people he impersonates to a T.
Charlie Murphy is a great addition to the show. He has a very talented actor that surprisingly enough didn't make it big until Chappele show. Where have you been hiding all these years Charlie? If you watch this show be prepared to laugh you aZZ off and hope that there is an hour of it scheduled. Because if you watch 30 minutes of it you are gonna be begging for more.
I do not think there is a funnier television show in existence. Kudos to Dave for leaving when he felt he was being immoral. He chose to be a good person then to take more money and go against his standards of morality. Just be glad he gave us the great gift of comedy at all. Thanks Dave.

I logged on to IMDb expecting to see at least a 6.7 average for this movie. This movie seems like the type to please most audience groups. I was shocked to see this movie below six, but barely making it into 5? Come on people..What are you thinking? This movie is completely original in plot and loaded with action. Not a knockoff of everything you have seen made 10 times over.
Bruce Willis has always been a favorite actor of mine so maybe I'm a little bias in my rating..Maybe not? I don't think so but its a good movie anyway.
If out go in expecting to see a 5.0 average movie you are in for a pleasant surprise. Its loaded with top notch actors combined with originality. Enjoy!

Why so harsh?

I gave this movie a 7 on a scale of 1-10 because I took into consideration it is a kids movie and should be judged as such. When this movie came out I was 13 and of course I enjoyed it much more then as opposed to now but having watched it as a child and as an adult I do remember how much I enjoyed the film as a kid. From the harsh grade of a 4.4 average I assume people where comparing this to complex movies with great plots. Kids should not be subjected to nothing but adult theme. So when you grade the movie remember what audience it was desighned for.As a child I would have gave this movie a 7. Would you drive a metro and act as if it should perform like a porsche?

I have been so busy with life that I have missed every advertisement for this movie. I don't think they marketed it to heavily as I usually know whats playing. With that being said I wish I would have got to see this in the movies. My brother said " I have a great movie you should watch" My Mom and Dad agreed with him so I took it home and popped it in. I was half asleep and figured I would pass out watchin it. It grabbed my attention, within 3 minutes I knew I would be awake until it was over. This movie could not have had a better cast as each and every one of them made a great contribution to the movies quality. William Hurt deserves some serious credit. His character accented Kevin COstners very very well but without Kevin this move would not have been half as good even with its well written script. His character portrays a serial killer with family values and you find yourself rooting for him as he exibits some what of a good side. Dane Cook has been a favorite of mine since he hit the comedy scene and its nice to see a serious display of talent coming from someone you knew had it in them. Way to go dane! Im gonnahave to stop typin cause I wanna give away spoilers so enjoy the movie.
