Ich, Putin - Ein Portrait (2012)
A well paid propaganda
A well paid propaganda - 600 ml EUR paid to the author by a Russian oligarch Alexiei Mordashov close to Putler, through a company registered on Virgin Islands. The aim was to portray Putler in as good light as possible, regardles how many neighbours he already invaded in his "special military operations" or will yet invade. Wars? Who cares, look at the guy, his dog loves him, he hunts in Syberia, travels in his limo, can he be bad? Next production of the author? "Ich, Kim Dzong Ung - great leader, merciful ruler, why wy North Korea and all the world love him" in which the author will portray (for a small sum in a good currency) how Kim goes fishing, wrestles with bears...
T-34 (2018)
Full of nonsense, but entertaining.
The movie is a typical Russian propaganda that depicts brave Russian soldiers keep on fighting despite hopless situation during WWII. Russians are too good, Germans not evil enough compared to the historic facts, too weak soldiers, and generally stupid. The script is full of nonsense decisions made by Germans, but it is all laughable, so can be added to the entertaining part of the whole. The special effects was good and fresh, acting was not bad, some breathtaking shots save the movie as well. And during the action you generally cheer for the main characters. What a pity it was not based on true story - that would be something. The movie was entertaining, so I reccomend it to watch, if there is nothing more ambitious within the reach at the moment.
