The Good Cop (2018)

If you love cop series, then you will love this. This gives 'monk' vibes. The music, the lead cop, the dead wife/mother, the comedy, etc.

It's an easy, fun must watch. Each episode is thankfully not too long and it doesn't drag. Keeps you on the edge just long enough to not bore you.

Yes it is predictable but what cop show isn't? The characters are all likeable and individually funny. The lead Monk-Like guy can have an awkward personality and he isn't too sociable but at least people do not laugh at him or thinks he's crazy.

If you love cop series, then you will love this. This gives 'monk' vibes. The music, the lead cop, the dead wife/mother, the comedy, etc.

Seriously wondering what the heck happened.

Was it meant to be cringey comical?

Absolutely NO ONE could act.

Genuinely Shocked!

I have never seen Jonathan Reys Meyers and Jon Voight act this badly before . And the rest of them seem to be lower than amateurs. I'd say fresh out of school but more like day one in school!

I have never heard of Will Sasso before but I sure hope I never ever see him again! How was he even casted.

The script writing was pathetic. Lack of empathy, lack of realism. I'm going to have to see my reviews and see if I have watched anything as silly, cringey and bad as this before.

Infinite (2021)

Weird and utterly ridiculous acting from some

There are amazing movies out there where thigs just do not make sense but you are kept on the edge of your seat until the end. Even if the end disappoints, the whole movie was worth the watch and kept you hooked.

This movie is the total opposite. Even when you get to the end you have no idea what the wind and hand thing was at the beginning.

When Nora saves Evan and smashes through a billions windows and walls with that car, there is not a scratch on it at the end.

Straight away the weird faces and the sultry looks she does winds you up. Especially when you find out they didn't even have a romantic connection in the past, ever! She is always so close to his face when they are talking and the 'gagging for it' faces she makes and 'breathy' voices, is so out of sync that it's cringey to watch.

There is such poor dialogue throughout that it makes you wonder what on earth everyone was even thinking!

And what kind of accent was Bathurst suppose to have exactly??

The list is endless with what is wrong with this movie.

Worth the watch!

Now this was a good watch. It was humorous and filled with action. The cast were definitely the right choice.

It was actually refreshing to see a normal skinny guy who doesn't have the 'hero' look nor the 'hero' talk, beat the crap out of thugs.

Honestly they need to make more of these. Because the 'cheesy' in this was actually worth the watch. They should make a sequel.

From the first episode, I just wanted to get these irritating, hateful annoying teenagers and throw them in a soundproof windowless building in the middle of the arctic! I have 3 myself and I thought they were annoying, but these were next level. They were just screaming and shouting, swearing and pushing, not answering when talked to and storming off!! I pity any parent who has to deal with self entitled broody teens like these in this drama.

And then what do you say about their miserable pathetic parents?! Cryptic, saddos. Who don't know how to be honest with each other, don't know how to behave with each other, and have no clue in how to deal with their brats.

And then to top it all off, they let their brats get away with murder!

Here we go again...

I had to forward A-LOT because it was the same old, same old, predictable storyline and cheesy as heck and the acting wasn't great.

What I want to know is if the dad left some money to Tom but IN A TRUST... and Madeleine was put in charge of that trust... and then Madeline transferred all her inheritance to that trust... Madeline is STILL the head of that trust... so she can actually come back and eff everything up for Tom... can't she?!

So explain to me how that ending is meant to be a good one?! Because the baddies got away scott free yet again but not totally empty handed... a string is still attached... so...?

This is the second small British series I have watched in a week where killing children are involved and this is the second time the ending was not satisfying.

One seemed like it was supernatural and were killing teenagers but turned out it wasn't, and this one involved sacrifices and children.

Why are the bad guys getting away with such things? I wonder why...

The actual acting and making of these are definitely not on budgets. There is money being poured in them. They are intense and draw you in. However, the endings are a total waste of space that make you question what kind of sickos are writing and directing these endings and making them seem ok.

I am seriously getting sick and tired of these types of endings. Is it a new thing in hollywood?

Oh lets kill everybody and everyone because people associated with them killed my family. And they are still trying to kill me.. so they all MUST die... and bystanders too... to heck with collateral damage... but once we get to the boss who ordered all the hits on my family, and started all this, the one who still wants me dead... well we shall gain a conscience then and let them go free.

Make sense?

Now what else can I say about such a ridiculos ending movie... 600 characters is an awful lot to write...

Red Rose (2022)

First couple of episodes were really good. Then it started to go downhill when things just wouldn't add up and make sense. What started off as a super natural horror didn't end like that. And lots of events that took place stopped making sense.

Best thing about this series are the friends. They were a believable bunch of Northerners! This really made you care about them.

It's definitely not a budget movie and is filmed very well. The actors are brilliant.

But I seriously wished it didn't have so many flaws and pot holes! Such huge potential from all around, I wish the writers were a bit more clued on.

My biggest beef with this series was the wife! Seriously people go on and on about women not putting up with infidelity and/or maybe forgiving the husband after therapy and change.

But apparently NOT. She so easily forgave a 5 month affair, without question. She was so composed throughout and showed literally no emotion. Didn't question or react to him at all. Like it was all so normal to just forgive and stand by your man.

Then later when the second rape allegation came out she STILL had no reaction and kept looking at his face and sleeping next to him and supporting him without question.

It was the most bizzarest thing for 2022. When women/wives apparently take no BS.

My second beef is the ending. Surprise surprise the elite get away with everything. Nothings changed there either.

Please don't bother wasting your time. This could have had So much potential, but 'actors' like Summer Glau just made it impossible to look past the sheer patheticness! Where are her face expressions? Lol. The script writers need sacking and these 'actors' need to never be hired ever again by anyone! I just couldn't deal with the amount of them in one series! Too long, too cringey. But if you are looking for a laugh, then give it a go. Lol.

Ok, so the acting is amazing... no surprise there... but I am so confused! SPOILER ALERT COMING UP!! The younger sister was 5 years old when older sister went to prison for 20 years. Older sister comes out of prison 20 years later and younger sister is now 25. She acts and looks like 18 and her parents are acting as though she is a teenager. They refuse to tell their 25 year old daughter about her older sister! And the no-contact order is confusing as heck! Surely mid 20's is adult enough! Stupid as hell !

***Spoiler Alert*** ... Ok, there were a few things that didn't make sense in the episodes... but on the whole, it was a very gripping series. I would deffo recommend the watch! The ending was a shocker. I mean I know old people are just as capable of being psychos but wowzers! These were more like a Stephen King baddies! Hehe. At the end, all we kept shouting was 'how are two old unhealthy people running as fast as a teenager?' !

365 Days (2020)

So all I jave been hearing is how great this movie it is, how hot it is, how everyone needs to watch it.

So here I went... I wish I could swear as I type, so you could truly understand how I am feeling.

The movie is degrading, disgusting and so damn cheesy. Nothing about it is a turn on, nothing about whats happening in it is normal. I don't understand how women everywhere is enjoying this movie and making it out to be anything other than a kidnapping and rape. Where the victim is obviously developing stockholm syndrome or some sort of a mental illness!!

This movie is just so wrong on so many levels!

Sickening.

So she is suppose to be a grown professional physiotherapist?! Gone to university, has a medical job? Is a doctor?! She has no manners, no respect, no idea how to behave. She is childish, nosey, annoying, unrelateable and unprofessional! If I came across someone like her, I would run a mile. And if I ended up with physiotherapist like her, I would sack her after a minute! It is meant to be comical I know but this is just stupid. Can not take anything seriously! Couldn't get past 25 minutes. Had to switch it off.

It seems s though aleast one actor from every British TV soap is in it. Eastenders, The Bill, Hollyoaks, lol. Such bad acting that it is unbelievable. Sometimes you can't even blame the badly written scripts, the actors themselves are wooden. I honestly can't believe it could be any more worse than it was. Seriously. Just avoid it. Seriously. Very annoying.

Maybe for teenagers or children this would be ok but as an adult watching it, it made me cringe.

The acting was so terrible, especially the actresses playing the characters Nancy and Helen.

Over acting, weird facial expressions, ridiculous dialogue, tone of voice and just everything about it was just stupid.

Not sure what the budget was on this movie but it must be very very low!

Season 1, FANTASTIC... Season 2, slipping... Season 3, What?!?!! Sunset Beach all over again!

Yes anybody remember Sunset Beach?? YEARS AND YEARS of storylines after storylines, and then suddenly Meg wakes up and the whole thing was a dream?!... YEP! Someone thought it would be funny to do a re-make but with a twist!!

It is a good job that I binge watched this and not spent MONTHS and YEARS waiting for the next episode and season.

I hate it when something with so much potential turns into something so rubbish!

I managed about 28mins and it got me so bloody annoyed!

Everything was LAGGING TOOOOOOOO much! And the background noise became irritating! Videos were too slow and twitchy, couldnt make anything out at one point. Just too damn unwatchable!

It was like going back to the 1990s internet, times when we use to connect to the internet via the phone line!

So annoying because i really was into it!! I wanted to know what was going to happen

It started off brilliantly, as normal, then the lagging was RIDICULOUS! Please do not ever nake anything like this again!

I really wanted to hate this because I don't usually watch Indian movies, but surprisingly I really enjoyed it. The fighting scenes were great! The story line wasn't typical at all. But Bollywood just have to EFF the whole thing up don't they!! *SPOILER ALERTS* NOTHING was Monty's (younger brother) fault yet he had to pay for it all. EVERYTHING was the fathers fault. THEN EVERYTHING was David's (older brother) fault. He treated Monty like dirt for something that was out of his control. BUT throughout the movie we are meant to feel sorry for David because his daughter's ill?!! SOD THAT!! He didn't give a rats backside for his younger brother at all for YEARS and then at the end he is redeemed and wins the 90 million!?! and all is forgiven?! I'm sorry but I was waiting for him to get a thrashing of his life and ending up in hospital totally isolated and disgraced! OMG I can go on and on about this ending but I may just smash something and write obscenities everywhere! TYPICAL BOLLYWOOD ENDING.

I watched three episode in full... and I couldnt force myself to watch anymore... The acting was horrendous and the dialogue was worse. Lead actress can't act to save her life and that daughter is waaayyy too ANNOYING... I wished it was another one of those series I could binge watch but I couldnt stand watching the two any longer.
