Frozen (2013)
The Disney I Remember as a Child...
I am a huge fan of children movies, I have watched Lion King close to 20 times, as well as Aladdin (only the original), and a few other classics.
Toy story, bugs life were all awesome. But in this movie lies something different. A hilarious snowman, a loving pair of sisters, and a fabulous story.
I loved this movie so much I really just can't wait to order the DVD and just watch it again and again and again.
Humor, got it...Good morals, got it...Family love, got it. Something new? Most definitely!
Great for kids and adults a like. Really impressed with Disney on this one. Great job!
Chuck (2007)
All about friendship and love
This show is probably one of the best shows ever, although it may not be very flashy or thrilling, the story is all about relationships. The meaning of the show, and the way it is portrayed through comedy makes Chuck the perfect "feel good" show. It is all about sticking up for your friends, about loving people, and about never giving up. This show subliminally shows the importance of family and friends all with the humorous combination of Jeff and Lester. There are times where the story may seem cheesy or repetitive but overall the show as a whole is amazing. I watch a lot of shows and Chuck is one of my all time favourites, because of the moral background the storyline takes. They didn't drag it out too long, and it had a nice ending. Awesome show!
Gravity (2013)
Worthless waste of time, Disappointed
Okay so I have NEVER given a movie 1/10, and I have NEVER been so disappointed with a movie in my life. This was by far the worst movie I have ever seen.
I can save you the money for your ticket and two hours of your life in exchange for reading these two lines. She thinks she is going to die in space, she doesn't, she lands on a island and is happy.
There is NO character development, NO conflict, NO action, NOTHING to interest us at all. I was so bored I can't believe this was even a movie. This was something I expect to see on a TV advertisement or something, it was so bad I was ashamed that it got above a 5. No idea how this movie is rated so high but SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND DO NOT WATCH THIS
Dexter: Remember the Monsters? (2013)
A good finale, not what I expected
I have been an avid fan of dexter for a very long time. I'll admit that it never stayed at its peak, I mean some seasons were great, and it really had some boring episodes near the end. However they always tended to end with a bang.
Well for those who don't know this season had to be rushed due to Ray Donovan (promising show), and with the ending overall I was impressed. I just wanted the happy ending though. Deb survives, or if not that at least Deb dies but Dexter comes to humanity.
It sucks that both things end up going wrong. I mean if Dexter is not killing anymore then he is better then why does he no have to live with Harrison and Hannah? And if he is killing people in that place where he is, how would he find people that abide by the code?
I think they should have went with the happy ending....they should have at least let him live happily ever after with Hannah and Harrison.
