Lots of people giving 0-2 to this because they "loved" the 80's movie and according to them this show does not live up to their expectations. I suggest you all go rewatch that movie as an adult in 2023.
The comedic style of this show is very on par with the movie. I'm not saying it's good by today standarts, they certainly could've done a more edgy comedy with the cast involved, but they decided to keep the spirit of Mel Brooks.
The movie was excellent for it's time, and still good today, and in my opinion this show delivers what's expected of it. It's not a comedic masterpiece but neither would the movie be in 2023.
I suggest you just give it a shot without expecting too much, and certainly without expecting to make you feel like you are watching History of the World Part I in your childhood.
