A simple and badass heroin movie
19 March 2024
Honestly its not the perfect movie but it is enjoyable and a delight to watch.

Being under 2 hours long makes it also a movie I can find time to watch. Honestly the amount of movies that are under 2 hours long are so scarce.

Our heroine is beautiful, vengful and badass. The antagonist is both scary and tragic and I loved the end.

I will admit that the movie hints at a few stuff but never deliver on it.

The animation is well done and thetension in some scenes are well depicted and left me on the edge of my seat.

Can recommend this to us who like a good fantasy action with a badass heroine.

A fun spin of the classic tale
7 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
While a bit odd and at times not so logical it's a fun movie with a fun twist.

The actors are both fun and enjoyable to watch. The comedic scenes are comedic and left me laughing hard.

The main thing I would say makes is that the main character little red is a bit bland when put besides other actors. Same with the prince who just doesn't look that handsome to me. But this i think is just a matter of taste and doesn't impact the story in a bad way.

I do think that. The end was both a nice well done twist but I also feel that the motive could have easily been explained as self defense.

Recommend this to you who like a bit of mystery with your classical fairy tale.

Ok acters horrible story
13 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Like it's stupid romance movie, with no idea how real life is. And in a way I can see how this would fit someone's idea of a good movie.

But I kept thinking how if you only changed the music into something more sinister then all the main guys dialogues would come of as creepy and really unsettling.

Honestly I just wish Tucker gets a happy ending because these main characters definitely didn't deserve it, I feel.

Honestly the fact that She dumped her boyfriend of two years just to immediately get together with the strange man that came out of nowhere and just feels creepy all around.

The fact that the movie tries to tell us that happiness can be achieved by just thinking positive just feels dumb and insulting.

Like yeah if that's the case how about Bray jumps in and stop child hunger in America. Which should be easy because just keep thinking positive kids and you won't feel that hunger in your stomach *sarcasm*

Good Karate movie just not
7 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It's a good Karate movie. With music and the design from the 70's but it is failing in some ways.

The animation is ok. Mostly better when dealing with the action scenes. Those scenes are freaking fantastic. However most scenes where the characters are moving or talking just ends up showing some bad visuals. Backgrounds are one complain i have.

The premise of this being a Batman movie is... Not worth it. I would say this if you like martial arts and want one set in the 70's then this is the movie for you. But if you wanted Batman fighting a mystical order it is not your cup of tea.

In truth while the titel says Batman, the story is completely from the perspective of other characters. Batman is one of them and is instead put in the movie as a supporting character. Batman himself doesn't show up nearly at all. Mostly it's just Bruce and everyone going around telling him that he should put on his mask, because that makes him more deadly i guess?

So yeah while this movie is a good martial arts movie it is NOT a good Batman movie.

Beautiful animation but
7 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I can't say I liked the story all that much.

First because the story has so many plot holes. Like Mr Bauer telling his seven sons to fetch water for their new sister and Gretel were nowhere near them. I thought that the creators wanted to hint at an hidden villain going around spelling children away or something like that. But no it's just stupid.

Then that Johannes the faithful one told the king and queen to chop their heads off. What kind of idiocy is that why would you tell them that and why would you then not show us how the king and queen got a hold of the golden twine.

Also when we do finally see how the twine is made, you got to ask yourself are the queen and the king even good guys.

I for sure thought there would be another villain working behind the scene trying to make Gretel and Hansel do something to the effect of freeing the entity.

But like no.

I will say i do however love the characters of Hansel and Gretel. Their personalities evolving as they move through out the story and that they become so strong is amazing. The voice actors are amazinging and i found the animation to be topnotch.

But the overhanging story is the one thing pulling it down.

And no i don't agree with forgiving them for doing that, not without finding out how they got a hold of some golden twine. Because after we found out how that twine is made, then you got to ask how the royal parents got it. Did they make it themselves or what warlock sold it to them?

A wonderful enjoyable movie
12 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I remember this movie still. I had watched it like 12 times by the time I used the knowledge from the movie to ace a question at school regarding this religion. My teacher wondered how I knew the answer and I just pointed to this movie. I then got the teacher to show this movie to use during one lesson.

The animation is delicious, the songs are beautiful and the story is brilliant with Moses and his brothers relationship on high focus here.

I just love this movie.

An ok movie with some expected shenanigans
12 July 2021
So the first 30 min of the movie felt like every other family oriented movie. Father daughter not understanding and having great misunderstandings. But I will admit the movie made me laugh and have a great time. Its still not my favourit. But overall its a great fun time.

A sequel we didnt need
19 March 2021
Honestly my title may seem cruel but that was honestly my first thought after finishing this movie. I did enjoy watching it, but that end just mad me realise that I hadnt wanted this. I had been completed by the third movie and its conclusion to the sToy story saga. But here i was watching a movie that sort of felt so ... unfulfilling and sort of like it was diverting so far from the third movies message.

I would only suggest if you want a movie, completely focusing on Woody and none of the other toys. And only if you want to feel like your been drained of all joy
