Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
They finally got it right in the west!
This is about as good a Godzilla movie as you will ever get from the west. Yes a lot of the Japanese movies are better especially some of the recent ones but I feel they finally got the tone right and managed to finally 'understand' Godzilla here. Very good!
The Green Hornet (2011)
Enjoyable Romp
I think we can split reviews into two camps, those familiar with the source material and those not. People saying they were expecting Iron Man clearly have no idea who or what the Green Hornet is. I'm a fan of the original series and comic books and whilst this isn't a brilliant take on the green avenger it's certainly not without its merits and nor is it without charm. It's an enjoyable enough super hero romp and not to be taken too seriously. Yes I would have preferred a better adaptation more in keeping with the Batman films say but this isn't in anyway as shocking as people seem to be making out and worth a watch if you view it as simply a bit of fun.
Godmoney (1999)
Worth watching for Strife fans
Considering the movie is made on a limited budget it's not bad at all. Interesting enough storyline and whilst you'll get no Oscar worthy performances from the cast it's hardly bad in that regard. Strife fans alone will want to see Ricks performance which is decent to good for a man that isn't an actor per say.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)
Treat as a bridging movie
If you think of this film purely as a 'scene setter' or 'bridging' film to further build the Fantastic Beasts world then it's absolutely fine. As a stand alone movie though it's a little drawn out and boring with not a huge amount really happening over the course of it. Further movies in the series may prove this one to be very important in the canon though depending on where they go from here. Overall a bit of a slog but time will tell on its place.
See You Yesterday (2019)
Awful
Had high hopes from the trailer but this is truly a terrible movie. It's actually a thinly and I do mean thinly veiled advert for the Black Lives Matter movement. Terrible acting, terrible dialogue. Boring plot. Avoid!
