The Northman (2022)
What the f did I just watch
Ugh, a terrible plot and acting for the most part... and the accents... yikes. You never actually end up liking any of the characters so who honestly cares when they die? There's absolutely no character development (which given that it's over two hours long, you'd think you'd have at least a little bit of empathy for a character) and you can see the mom twist coming from three miles away. I felt more connection to their horses that kept dying and getting their heads severed than I did about any of the actual characters. It wasn't nearly as gory as it could have been, most of the actual killing was done slightly off screen with just the blood spattering at their faces. All in all, I could not wait for this movie to be over. Truly a waste of two hours. On the plus side, the setting is pretty and there's a volcano.

Loved it so much I watched twice in a row
Such a quirky and interesting film! I loved it from beginning to end.
Tiger King (2020)
Garbage
The podcast was much better. The show breezed over a bunch of stuff overall.
