A Funny Comedy, with So-So Horror

This movie is worth watching and is a fun little romp of a horror-comedy film. As the title of my review indicates though, this is much more of a comedy film than a horror movie... Or at least it is much more successful when it does its comedy thing than when it tries to do its horror thing.

The cast is top notch and the comedy writing is ok but the horror parts all fall flat. It would be better if not all of the horror scenes and murders were just played 100% for laughs.

Also it kind of drags as it gets near the end, and a movie like this should never get boring.

Worth checking out but not buying.

Konga TNT (2020)

This is not really a movie and should not be listed here in my opinion the poster looks like a "good bad movie" experience but it is a lie. The actual video is just a stuffed animal monkey (no really I am not exaggerating), and they somehow didn't even get anything funny out of it. I honestly feel terrible for the entire crew and everyone appearing in this movie because there is literally no way anybody could actually save this steaming pile of celluloid, or look good for being involved with it, and I bet they all donated their time to this travesty. Still not enough characters? Ok, I bet you everyone not to try to watch this, it seems tempting to watch as a bad movie but it is deliberately terrible in an impossible to watch way and not in a fun to laugh at kind of way.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)

One of the Best

This is one of the best movies in the series. I like the first movie the best but this is probably number two to me. Great scares, Englund is fantastic as Krueger. The acting is good. Good writing. Everything you would hope for in a movie like this!

Average Youth Show

The only reason I would recommend trying to watch this show is to see how long you can put up with it before slamming your head against the wall. This show is incredibly boring.

Run All Night (2015)

Liam Neeson is Always Cool

This isn't a great movie but there's some good suspense, thrills and action and Liam Neeson is always great. In this he has to decide between his son, who he has problems with, and his boss and best friend, Ed Harris, who he has always been loyal to. A fun watch.

Rooster Cogburn (1975)

Great Western!

This is a great and fun old western. She's awesome and The Duke is at his late career best as Rooster Cogburn. It's not a comedy but there's lots of laughs in this one. Some very cute scenes between the two of them and also a fun adventure to boot.

Liam Neeson

Liam Neeson is so awesome, I can't believe that he has actually just become an action movie star in the last few years even though he is well into his fifties in age.

I just read an interview that he likes doing these movies and just working in general to help him keep moving on since his wife passed away in that accident a few years ago. That's very tragic and I think it's sweet that he's obviously so heartbroken, I am glad that I have no idea how much it must hurt to lose someone who is the center of your world like that.

The movie is great and you get what you expect and what the trailer promises. If you loved the Taken movies and The Gray you will love Liam Neeson again in this as a very intense and intelligent man of action, I give this movie an A!

Satisfaction (2013)

Decent Effort

This show is not so bad if you are just looking for a mindless half hour of televised comedy. There are some decent jokes in it and yes of course the plot doesn't always make sense and the characters can be very awkward and annoying but they are supposed to be! This is a comedy with not super fleshed out characters where the annoying people and awkward situations is what they are going for. Some people don't like awkward shows like The Office but some people like me do. That's not to say this show is anywhere near as good as The Office was but it is that same kind of awkward humour so if that is something you don't like then from straight out of the gate you will not like this show. For those people like me who do get that kind of humour this show isn't bad.
