Live from Canada, It's Ed the Sock (2016–2017)

Embarrassing!!

This was a really embarrassing youtube show for many reasons.

• the show broadcast live on youtube like anybody can, not a real show at all
• comments were posted live and people bashing how crappy this show is were way more funny than the show itself
• taped in the lobby of a restaurant and the restaurant customers had to walk past the "show taping" and these were just confused people who wanted a meal in the restaurant who had no idea who these people were or what the hell was going on
• camera and audio quality was worse than garbage
• constant sound and video problems where it would cut in and out or just air without sound for long periods of time
• audience was a few of Ed's friends sitting in crappy stacking chairs
• the restaurant manager would come on and advertise T-shirts the restaurant had for sale in the lobby every show and he made almost no sense
• Ed's wife ran the sound board and talks all the time and is never funny
• Ed and his wife practically beg for money so they can do a better show, seriously they did TV for how many decades did you not save any money and you have to beg for more?
• No sponsors other than the manager selling T-shirts in his restaurant lobby
• Ed's friends are basically mentally challenged and he uses them for jokes
• their titles and posts are frequently spelled incorrectly
• about the one millionth Ed the Sock show in a row that was cancelled asap for sucking
• viewing numbers of the show were pathetically low
• youtube view count on this like many other Ed the Sock videos would suddenly shoot up by many thousands almost as if through magic or because they were purchased through click farms
• Ed the Sock did this show after Frank D'Angelo stopped using him on The Being Frank Show seriously how bad do you have to suck to get kicked off Being Frank?

Anyway I used to love Ed on City TV but he keeps doing this low rent crap that just seems so embarrassing. Ed if you read this please stop begging for money and doing these tiny little shows and keep the dignity you have left you are a Canadian TV legend and you need to stop damaging your rep bro!

How'd They Get John Rhys Davies In This?

Any time an independent movie is written by and directed by and stars the producer that usually means the movie is a turd and this is no exception to that rule. The acting is laughably bad and the story is so damn stupid you wouldn't believe me if I told you. Basically a crazed serial killer is locked up with other lunatics but then somebody kills the asylum's power which somehow makes all the cells open and turns on the red emergency lighting, which is extra bad because one of the crazy serial killers turns into a bull creature whenever he sees the color red. Yep it really is that stupid. Nothing in this movie is right and everyone involved in the making of this should be embarrassed to have it on their resumes. Whatever this movie's budget is I guarantee 99% of it went into getting John Rhys Davies, Smoking Man from X Files and Mercedes McNab who was occasionally on Buffy to agree to be in this. They're in it for a total of about five minutes by the way. This movie is a huge dud so do yourself a favor and avoid it at all costs.

Prank Science (2011– )

Not Good or Bad

This is an average level prank show. It's not super funny or anything but wasn't bad either, I have definitely seen worse prank shows out there especially other prank shows for kids. The actors could be better and the writing was simple but it was for kids so that doesn't matter so much.

Terrible Reality TV

This show was pitiful like the worst reality TV shows always are. Zero creativity, just people hanging around in front of a camera, somehow even worse than Big Brother... maybe even as bad as Big Brother Canada (yech).

Also I remember when this show had 90 votes, 80 votes of 9 and 10 votes of 10/10 here on IMDB. Now I clean out my old IMDB spam folder in my email of the old message board postings I had there and am reminded of posts I made about those weird votes at the time, come back and check and since then there's been almost no votes of 9 or 10. ha ha nice try!

Stick Around (1977 TV Movie)

Well It Was Original

This was bizarre and not particularly funny but you can't say it wasn't bold or original. Andy Kaufman plays a robot in the year 2055 who is breaking down and his owners consider selling him. He also helps them by working in their antique store which sells things from "present day" 1970s but they don't know what the stuff really is, for example how to use a handgun or that a toilet is not a piece of art.

This show was dumb. They tried to change the title (aka "Now What") but under any title this show was just plain dumb.

This was a really bad show. It's a shame because I've always been a fan of hers and it would have been neat to see her starring in a new series for a few years but the supporting cast around her (her kids and colleagues etc) were just terrible and the writing was about the worst ever. Hopefully she gets another show and it's good next time.

Second Jen (2016– )

Cheap

This show is so cheap it's as if it was thrown together in a couple hours by a grade eight class doing a video project. Some of the worst writing I've ever seen. The acting isn't good either but it's hard to say for sure since they are given such crappy writing.

Radio Free Roscoe (2003–2006)

Boring

This show was well produced but just boring. The acting was OK but not better than that, the writing was not very good at all to be honest, and the romantic story lines were hammy and predictable.

Blood Diamond (2006)

Decent Drama

This is a decent drama, worth watching, not recommended for kids. DiCaprio is fine and the supporting cast is very good as well.

Saturday Night Live: The Best of Jimmy Fallon (2005 Video)

I don't understand any of you people who might actually like Jimmy Fallon and I never will. I think I worded that wrong because I do understand liking Jimmy Fallon, he seems like a very decent human being and a nice friendly guy. I would love to have him come over for beers sometime. But I hate watching him on TV because he has no comedy talent! The entire disc and remember this is supposed to be the best of all of his stuff over several years, is him doing really hellish poor impressions. Pretty much every sketch just as you would expect he ends up laughing at himself or other people which is just maddening. Even when he's doing something all alone and it's 100% not funny he starts laughing. Why does this guy get a best of disc? The rest of the sketches are all other, stronger actors and comedians carrying him through the scenes. I'm not exaggerating, this guy is terrible and talentless. Not sure who but he must have naked pictures of somebody to have gotten on TV and how he is still on there is also a huge mystery, his late night show is the worst ever. I sure hope those nude pictures aren't of Lorne Michaels. Shudder. I give 2 out of 10 because the other people give some strong performances. Jeopardy is great as always. Some Weekend Update bits are also decent.

I don't really think that the movie The Princess Bride needs any more reviews here since there are already 677 and pretty much all of the ones I've skimmed over are very good reviews, but I will still review it anyway because my IMDb personal profile has this thing on it that keeps saying my profile is not complete because I haven't reviewed any movies yet. So OK here is my review of the movie The Princess Bride which is a feature length action adventure fantasy comedy romance flick from the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and eighty-seven..... I believe it was released in the summer of that year in July or perhaps June or maybe August..... The Princess Bride is great.
