Good Burger 2 (2023)

Fun nostalgia for the fans

This movie was pretty good, I dont know why people are saying "its not as good as the first one". Well duhh! No one expected it to be better than the first. Its fun, got a few laughs, and it does a good job at trying to capture the innocence of the first one. No its not completely original, the storyline is pretty similar to the first but its a good thing that they tried to stay on brand. Can you imagine how mad the fans would be if they completely flipped the script? They also had a few cameos from actors that were in the first film as well as some familiar faces from Saturday Night Live. Enjoy the movie, dont think too hard, have a laugh with your old pals. Who loves orange soda??

Ignore the haters

Haters that dont even watch the show (or the original) are coming from all over to watch one or two episodes because they saw a viral clip online. And they just want to watch from a judgemental point of view and leave a bad review so another one of OUR shows can get canceled. The Proud Family was always pro-black and always touched on these sort of issues, now people are claiming the show is trying to push a certain agenda on kids.

I just hope Disney keeps the show going for those of that actually like it. Also, if you talk to your kids you wont have to worry about tv brainwashing them. Sorry not sorry.

Not bad!

This movie put me through all of the emotions 😂 I was on the edge of my seat! Good plot twist! Very unexpected.

I thought it was going to be like all of the other stalker movies. And the entire time I pointed a finger at all of the side characters, so the ending came as a big surprise. Im glad no one else got hurt in the end, especially the little girl or the dad. I hope he marries the assistant!

The movie was good. It had a lot of mini plot twists which is what kept it interesting. In the end, it was ultimately what we would expect but it was executed nicely.

I really hate to leave bad reviews but this movie was just the worst. The trailer basically told us everything that was going to happen. So I was waiting on some dramatic plot twist that we didn't already know about but it didn't happen. This movie was just like every other obsession movie on lifetime. I'm surprised this was a Netflix movie because Netflix usually does a better job.

Since I haven't seen Brenda Song do much since her Disney days, I was happy to see her in a new movie but this was a disappointment.

See You Yesterday (2019)

Great Movie!

The only reason there are mixed reviews is because people can't appreciate the goodness of the movie because the ending was not specific enough. Although I would have appreciated some closure in the end, I understand why it happened the way it did.

I believe that CJ was so determined to make everything better that if there was an alternative ending, she would've been successful.

This is a great movie and everybody I know likes it!

The reviews that are criticizing this movie should not have watched it in the first place because its probably not even their type of movie!

And so many keep mentioning cheech and Chong but most of the people who would enjoy this movie probably haven't even seen the cheech and Chong movie.

I think the real reason for all the negativity is because people get so offended by the stereotypes for both whites, blacks and Asians in this movie but its no different from any other movie

The Proud Family (2001–2005)

Very relatable show

Many inner city (black) youth looked forward to watching this show every week. It's funny and relatable.

Some people are correct about the stereotypes on the show. Like how Dijonay is the only dark skinned (and plus size) friend and she just happens to chase a man who doesnt want her. Sugar Mama also chases a man who doesn't want her. Penny and Lacienega are both very sassy and Zoey (the only white girl) is socially awkward.

I do think we need more shows like this because the Prouds were somewhat disfunctional but they still ended the episode with love and respect for each other. No matter what people think about the show, you have to admit that their is a great message behind it. Family and friends always stick together (I know that sounds corny)

The Game (2006–2015)

Great at first

In the beginning this show was awesome and hilarious when they had the original cast. After half of the originals left and they switched networks and brought in new people, the show went DOWNHILL. Its a shame.

My 8 out of 10 review is for the first few seasons with the originals. But for the last seasons after they made big changes, I rate it a 1 out of 10 seriously.

I am enjoying this show so far. Many of the bad reviews are from the same people who claim that we don't have enough positive black shows and then when we get one they dont support it because its corny. Well go ahead and continue to watch Love and Hip Hop if thats the way you like being portrayed.

A great movie for entertainment purposes, you obviously dont have to follow the relationship guidelines that she talks about in the movie. Although, it was all for fun and laughs, some of the tips and advice she gives is actually worth listening to.

This was a really good movie that I still enjoy watching today, as an adult. The plot is pretty juicy once all the pieces are put together towards the end.

I enjoyed the action of the film. The faults of the movie falls on the shoulders of the directors or writers. I believe this movie had the potential to do really well if they had added a little more to the storyline. Maybe their should've been some sort of character development for Mary, like as we watch we see her evolve into a total badass character. And also the movie should've been slightly more realistic as far as the shooting. Mary dodged a few hundred bullets in that last scene and not one of them even grazed her? Yet she was able to shoot and completely kill everyone who crossed her path. C'mon, really? Also, maybe a little less focus on the kid. And they barely addressed the fact that Mary killed his father. That should've been much bigger and related to the plot. For example, Mary couldve once been very heartless and a bitch, and then meets the kid and he softens her up and she becomes more motherly to protect him but still a really good assassin but now she's in it for the right reasons.
