Very intense. I like the behavior of characters, seems logical. Not all questions were answered

The movie does get very very intense in second part. It definitely gets pretty scary.

I really liked the behavior of characters, it's not just some stupid horror movie where characters do stupid stuff. Here at least the character does have some real motivation to investigate something, and if they are scared then they don't continue doing stupid stuff and try to avoid it.

The ending was quite relieving though because you do get partial explanation.

I'd give a 7, but I didn't completely like the ending as not all questions were answered. Like what is really happening in that place.

Top Gun: Maverick (2022)

Even at 58 years old you can have an amazing life and even still find love

In Tom Cruise's movies the line between acting and real life is more blurred than usual because Tom Cruise is simply badass in real life too.

I loved the fact that even at that age he still performs tasks which are so demanding on the body.

This man inspires a thought that getting older does not necessarily mean that you wasted your best youth days and that you are too late somewhere or that you can't catch up at an older age. You can still catch up with your plans at any age, or at least until you are very very old. Perhaps until then we should keep working and not stress too much.

I also loved the romantic part of this movie. It seems finding love is also never too late? Oh my gosh, I can't believe Jennifer Connelly was around 50 in this movie. I thought she's like 40. It's interesting to see Cruise's character dating someone closer to his own age. Nice.

But yeah, it seems that even at that age you can date a hot woman and have a good relationship. <3 She also was absolutely stunning at an interview with Graham Norton for Top Gun with that black hair laying to the side.

This movie doesn't have any green screens and the characters were actually flying IN the planes.

Great stunts, great acting, great movie, great inspiring thoughts with our golden gentleman Tom Cruise.

The Batman (2022)

Darker and more serious theme than Christian's Bale batman. It was done very well. But the story was too long and felt average

This movie's Batman was darker, more serious, very slow, very introverted (which is super interesting and relatable), basically a phlegmatic. He needs time to think, he doesn't make fast decisions even in time of danger. The theme and Batman were super interesting.

I have absolutely no problems with Robert Pattinson.

However, the story felt too long. I didn't find it interesting enough to sit for 3 hours there. The villain didn't feel like the main villain.

It was also super interesting that the story ends with Batman losing. The villain won - killed everyone he wanted and flooded the city. However, there is a spin - Batman learned something. He learned that instead of being vengeance, he needs to be hope.

I'm waiting forward to the next movie!

Zirky za obminom (2021)

Today I decided to use my money to support Ukrainian cinema industry and I have zero regrets. The movie was great.

The movie was hilarious at many moments. I haven't seen a movie as funny as this for a long time.

The acting might not be for everyone because in many occasions there's a clear overacting, but I think that's what makes the scenes funny, so in this case it works.

The movie not only has funny moments, but interesting story too and even emotional moments as well. You might even shed a tear. Nice writing.

Also, this movie is entirely in Ukrainian, which is a very nice touch and makes it look professional.

Flight (I) (2012)

Action at beginning, then regular story. Story of an alcoholic. A lot of references to God.

This movie might help you understand what it's like to be an alcoholic. I liked how he tried to stop a few times and realistically came back.

This movie shows the story of an anxious man who was waiting for trial and wasn't sure what's gonna happen.

It's interesting that this movie has so many references to God. That he gives us good moments and bad moments and we just need to accept that. It is what it is.

Who Am I (2014)

Interesting hacking movie with twists. Was enjobale to watch. Shows differnt side of hacking. Motivates to work.

The different side of hacking that this movie shows is the fact that for a lot of hacking, physical intervention is required. It's just not really possible to hack everything from home.

Also, it was interesting to see that they added social engineering to this.\

This movie does have some surprising twists and an interesting ending.

Man, even the love story is depicted well. For someone so introverted and someone who sits at home all the time it's indeed very difficult to show any emotions towards your crush.

Max was an interesting character. Said some truths about life even though people like him are a bit annoying.

This movie is also a bit motivating and inspiring. If you prepare well and don't rush, difficulties in life can be overcome.

Robin Hood (2010)

A great English movie showing history and culture. Loyal wifes

I like that in multiple medieval movies the wifes of kings are so loyal. She was french and yet she was serving her England and supporting her king.

This movie shows the medieval setting very nicely and the story is good.

A real medieval knights movie.

Just Mercy (2019)

It's important to stay persistent in order to achieve your goals and to not give up fighting the bureaucratic system. Introverted main character.

It's an average movie, shows a story based on the past.

It shows the terrible side of the bureaucratic system and that it can take a long time to fight it, however, it's important to not give up.

It also shows some problems that african americans had not so long ago and that racism indeed strongly existed and was bad.

Good thing now cops have cameras.

Also, shows that death penalty system is quite bad and even in US people were executed wrongfully (and in USSR it was probably even worse).

I liked the introvertism of the main character and his seriousness and the ability to stay calm in difficult situation. Reminds me of someone ;)

Papik (2019– )

One of the funniest TV series I've seen that combines drama elements as well. Amazing lead actors.

I loved the humor in this TV series, it was very funny.

Both lead actors do an outsanding job. It goes without saying for Baklan, he's probably one of the best actors in Ukraine.

Regarding Darya Petrozhitska, her acting is incredible as well, she is able to portray all emotions. I really liked how her character interacted with the Ded, especially during funny moments, I think she wasn't even acting, maybe she was just having fun because her laugh sometimes looked very convincing. Also, I loved what a wide range of wardrobe and hairstyles she used. It shows that people aren't really born beautiful, it's something we can become, as during the TV show sometimes her character looked stunning and sometimes super simple. The range of styles she used is seriously amazing.

I loved that the TV series not only had funny moments, but the story is quite dramatic as well and the directors combined the two very well.

The lead characters at the start of the show were completely opposite, but to the end of the show both got something good from each other.

At the start Ded was somewhat morally responsible, while the girl wasn't at all.

All in all, great show, might rewatch again for the humor.

He's Just Not That Into You (2009)

Shows that everyone's love story is different. Seriously. And Ginnifer Goodwin is amazing actress

This movie shows that every person has their own hardships when it comes to love life. Everyone has their own journey, ups and downs. And as it was said at the end of the movie - the most important thing is to not give up.

This movie shows absolutely different types of people, and it shows different scenarios. If I had to choose my character, that would be Justin Long (Alex), who is closed and doesn't let girls enter his heart and stays single.

I found it interesting that Scarlett Johansson stayed in the closet the entire time when Bradley Cooper was having sex with his wife. That was kind of respectful... But it still didn't work for him because cheating is just wrong.

Ginnifer Goodwin is seriously an amazing actress. It's so interesting how natural she acts and how well her face shows all kinds of emotions.

Orphan (2009)

Not super scary. Interestingly shows people manipulations

This movie is not super scary, so it's watchable. Shows how it is possible to manipulate people and show certain behavior when you want and hide your real emotions.

I liked how the plot progressed.

Legend (I) (2015)

Gangster UK life shown quite well. Quite well shows people who are in love, but with a very sad ending

I liked how the gangster life was portrayed in this movie. It has typical UK gangster outfits, remind me of AC Syndicate.

The main character and his wife were in love and I liked how it's portrayed. How fascinated she was by him and wanted to be with him.

Unfortunately, he never could leave his other life behind. Even if he loved her. I think choosing your wife is the only option ever as she is your world.

I was very angry when he beat her like that. It makes complete sense that she couldn't trust him anymore.

I liked that the movie was able to evoke certain emotions.

Palmer (2021)

Timberlake is gifted. A simple life story. Shows the environment in which kids can turn LGBT

Timberlake is not only a good singer, but also a good actor. Not only that, he's confident, good looking. The way he's acting makes it easy to place yourself in his story.

The movie doesn't show any amazing turns of events, or a success story. It just shows a simple guy who has a lot of things going on. However, even though he doesn't have money and you can't call him successful, he still managed to find love AND purpose in his life. So regardless of his situation, he still can be happy!

The story shows a typical story of some LGBT members. Who were raised without a father and as such didn't have an example of both genders in their family. Not only that, but the people around them didn't explain to them what's normal behavior and what's not, so the kid didn't even know he's acting as a girl. The lack of education from adults and the fact that the kid was simply ignored instead of being taught, led him to develop behavior similar to that of a girl. Even though Palmer is a good guy, he didn't know what to do and simply ignored kid's behavior. The movie did a great job of showing the environment that can lead to kids becoming members of LGBT.

Seven Pounds (2008)

Good acting from Will Smith, interesting display of the importance of organ donoring, sacrifice for others

A good movie with a good display that organ donoring is an amazing gift. The acting from Will Smith is interesting, he really doesn't show that many emotions in this movie, he's quite serious most of the time. Well, his character is depressed.

Good movie about sacrifice for others and the importance and positive effect that organ donoring can have on others. What an invaluable gift.

However, it felt like in some moments the story wasn't developing fast enough and perhaps could have been spent on other characters instead.

The movie was interesting to watch, it evokes positive emotions, makes you think about love. There are some long scenes with music, without words and yet you feel like they tell you something. I was interested in a side actress Ziyi Zhang. I found her pretty and interesting. The chinese setting is shown well, like buildings, outfits, music etc. I think it's a good action movie to watch with GF and it's not too long.

The Gentlemen (2019)

Loved Matthew McConaughey's character. He's badass, he has self respect, money is not really the most important thing for him. He's lucky, smart and experienced.

The Impossible (2012)

The movie showing devastating effects of a tsunami

Quick thoughts: Tsunami is more dangerous than I thought. 227 thousand people died in 2004 tsunami. This movie shows why it's so difficult and there is also footage on youtube. Think quick, be smart and go as high as you can when tsunami comes.

This movie also shows how devastating people feel when they experience it.

In time of danger don't forget to help others, not just yourself.

Great acting from Tom Holland. Amazing for his age.

Our body indeed is amazing and strong. Don't give up and ignore pain. You can survive.

Me Before You (2016)

Difficult romance story, classic Emilia acting, cute and feminine, some funny moments

This is a difficult romance story and the heroine has to choose between 2 guys. Her choice is not the best, but it is human, so can be understandable. Same can be said about the rich guy's choice.

I'd say Emilia's acting is good, but in fact it's more like being in this role is in her character maybe? Anyways, there are some big differences between Daenerys and this character, which shows that she is a capable actress. In this movie she is quite cute and feminine, wears a lot of nice and colorful clothes - good style.

The movie has some funny moments. Also, the first few minutes of the movie show life in the UK quite well, however, it doesn't last long.

The story of the movie is difficult, especially the ending. The choices that characters make in this movie are thought provoking. And it's difficult even for me to say if they behaved correctly.

Outlaw King (2018)

Amazing movie. Scotland+England history. Shows culture and traditions. Great love story with loyal wife! <3

This movie is interesting and shows the medieval history and wars between England and Scotland, tells you the story with enough details to understand everything. It shows that time period well, including life and traditions (I don't know the traditions but hopefully it's shown correctly). It's amazing that now these two lands are one country. They were slaughtering each other and for what?

This has a really great love story with a good, loyal wife which believes in you. Could watch this movie again with a lady ;)

Joe (I) (2013)

Simple, harsh life of some people (workers), kinda villagers

This movie just shows the life as it is for some people, who are not rich and have to enjoy what they have and the company that they have. They have jobs, but the salary is enough to live a simple life but they try to enjoy it. This movie probably shows the poorer side of america. It reminds villagers in eastern europe, my relatives.

The main hero is not really a hero, but he does understand what's good and what's not and just tries to live correctly when he can. It's probably how most people are.

Unbroken (I) (2014)

God has a universal plan and we know nothing about it. But if you keep going you will have a good life eventually.

First of all, the movie is good, even though I think there unfortunately are more stories like this.

It's very hard to understand why does God make some people go through this. Or makes people go through hardships in general. There has to be a certain plan that we are a part of and we have to accept that sometimes God will sacrifice us in order to change conditions for his own benefit or to influence other people. If we accept that and keep going then we eventually will overcome that and the light will shine again. Unfortunately, the process can take months or years, but with the right mindset it should be possible.

The Only Living Boy in New York (2017)

This is not a normal love triangle, more like a pentagon or hexagon? The story is a bit too much and not very wholesome. (I hope this doesn't happen in real life?)

Can't say it has a happy ending, but at least there's a logical ending. The story itself is just sad. I really hope there's not many people who have to go through something like that. Strong and permanent marriages are very important!

When I was watching this I wasn't sure if this really happens in real life. Especially Joanna just hooking up with a guy like that who is so self-doubting and unattractive (personality wise). I really didn't like someone who thinks so negatively about himself. And I thought this just doesn't happen in real life. But after googling the actress who plays Joanna (Kate Beckinsale)... She is 46 and is actually dating a guy who is 23 LOL... But probably that guy has some better qualities. But man, is she pretty for a 42 year old(at that time). She looks AT LEAST 10 years younger. Simply amazing.

I was surprised to see several famous actors who are just in a supporting role.

Dark Waters (2019)

Movie about harmful chemicals everywhere. Reminds that we should be careful with what we use.

This movie is a good reminder that you have to be careful about the food you consume and items you use in your household. It's good that more attention is being brought to this important topic. The acting is good and even though this movie did not bring a good box office, respect to Mark Ruffalo for bringing attention to this topic. And it's scary what things are still happening in 21st century.
