The Quiet Earth (1985)

This film sucks. Its all wrong in more ways than I can list.

The acting is TERRIBLE.

The science and setting are so bogus I cant see how anyone can buy it from the start.

The evolution of the characters is unnatural and psychotic and is clearly predicated by the neo-socialist brainwashing of the author.

If you are in any way normal and rational you will feel you wasted part of your life watching this garbage.

The 100 (2014–2020)

Lamer and more boring each year, Season Five is total crap.

This serious has always been infantile, badly written, badly acted and clearly shows the only thing the writers know about survival or real human psychology is what they get from other hollywood trash.

The science has always been pathetic again showing lack of any real research or technical advice.

If they had a clue they would have hired a real science advisor, a survival advisor, a good psychologist and decent biologist.

From the start this show has been excessively about drama shots and teenage romance fantasies about what the post apoc world might be like.

The self serving boring monologue speeches are so bad you often find yourself saying STFU and reaching for fast forward.

The writers dont have a clue about plotting a story either. They write themselves into situations with at least a half dozen readily available solutions that are clear to anyone with a clue and yet they act like there are only one or two that won't kill all that remains of humanity.

It just gets worse and worse and season five is so bad it makes me want to punch out the writers for wasting my time.

And the people that say this is done right, really need to get a dose of the real world.

Robin Hood (2018)

Its a cheap plagiarized rehash of prince of thieves with a ton of garbage cliches thrown in as a pathetic attempt to cover up bad writing, paper thin plot, and the worst acting and directing I have seen in a long time.

Blindspot (2015–2020)

Has gone from pathetic to outright terrible.

This thing started out as a cliche formula rehash show.

Its a lame rehash of bad police drama, years old science that misinformed know it all writers think is cutting edge, poor character development patched up with half ass attempts at faking a subtle romantic interest.

Then they start throwing in a bunch of cliche formula liberal political BS showing not only how biased the writers/directors are but also how completely clueless they are about reality.

Star Trek: Discovery (2017–2024)

Worst Trek of all time!

Its boring.

The writing is pathetic.

The acting is laughable.

Then they throw in a bunch of half baked leftist agenda preaching that even famously liberal Roddenberry would barf at.

Worse than a waste of time, its a waste of resources that should have been used better.

Dragon Kingdom (2018)

Truly pathetic!

Ive been in several big budget films and a bunch of low budget and student films and of course watched thousands. Ive never seen worse.

As suggested elsewhere, they did in fact sneak into heritage reconstruction sites to film or got permission. I've been in that very village I believe.

They dont even bother to try to hide the 21st century signs though they do film from the back side of them but you can clearly see their shape and the modern bolts.

Even worse as they enter the first village look to the left of the screen as they pass the very small shed thats the size of a one man toll booth.

Plainly visible on the door is a modern calendar with a picture of a slice of pie on the top.

Then the circular seating area on their left as they enter is clearly made of planks sitting on modern concrete blocks.

Perhaps worse still. Look at any seem with farm animals and take not of the modern wire fencing.

It just gets worse and worse.

The acting is so incredibly lame, especially the pathetic troll called Prince Favian.

They should be ashamed they wasted their resources on this when 100 bucks of stage muslin could have fixed all the stuff I mentioned other than the acting.

Stranger Things (2016–2025)

Much to like but a lot of lame to overlook.

Im not going to bother with whats good, others have frothed at the mouth about that more than enough for all of us and quite a bit they are just goofy about.

This show could be good if they took out some of the major annoyances and treated the story and audience with more basic respect.

Cliche writing thats very out of touch with reality even for the 80s, for those of us who werent too stoned to remember it.

Whats with the constant chain smoking idiots throwing cigarette butts, still burning, everywhere?

Everyone is an alcoholic, most of the characters that arent total cardboard are still mostly filled in with a broad white trash spray gun base with a few bits tweaked.

The characterization is pathetic.

Generally they have between 30-70 percent of the content of a real story in an episode and the rest of the time is filled in with pathetic time waste shots of smoking and drinking for no real purpose.

Its like these guys got paid by the tobacco lobbies.

Whats with white trash framing to most of the characters and acting like this is normal? Its pathetic loser city for just about everyone. Do these writers have some kind of prejudice against middle class people in small town America?

The Byers mother is annoying as it gets. She makes you want to shoot her with a tranq dart. Shes constantly just a hair short of losing it. They way overdo it with her far too often and for far too long every time. They put her in situations where no one would tolerate that for a fraction of the time they use it to fill up.

Everyone runs scared and never takes the most basic precautions or notifies anyone when the find something or are about to do something stupid.

Cliche evil scientists and men in black.

Cliche jerk jocks, although Steve turns out to be more complex, but the trashy punk from Cali that you want to pound every 5 seconds, etc.

Everyone in the 80s wasn't like, not even all poor people in the 80s in small towns. Its offensive and annoying that these guys have such a blatant bias to their characterization.

Red Sparrow (2018)

Boring and predictable.

Bad cliche writing that only people with no real world experience would ever believe.

Bad acting. Wooden and stilted.

Predictably follows the exact pattern of the same old lame Femme Nikata knock offs.

Erotics scenes my butt, this guy must have lived in monastery. This guy must have read fifty shades of lame.

The lead female is totally unappealing despite all they do to try to polish her up.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)

This is sloppy load of revisionist trash.

Major glaring continuity errors in the first five minutes.

The story is a twisted pathetic preachy distortion of Arthurian legend.

I am rarely pleased by the "artistic license" taken by two bit writers with little regard for history.

Many times in the past I have wanted to bludgeon the idiot directors and writers over their shoddy and insulting portrayal of my family history.

As a direct descendant of the Bruce, named after his great ... grandson, King James, I am proud to see justice done to this portion of our family story.

The writing and acting in this show is truly pathetic.

I forced myself to watch the whole first season and literally had to force myself to not punch the screen several times per episode.

Its an insult to any superman fan.

The design of Brainiac is childish and idiotic.

The so called military and social aspects are a joke and are self contradictory.

Their technology is so haphazardly done you can tell its written by people that don't have a clue even enough to be internally consistent.
