Teen Beach Movie (2013)
Not Bad At All.
Good storyline (a used one though), great actors and actresses, excellent costumes, beautiful film location, and catchy songs. The TBM was like a combination of the movies Back To The Future, 17 Again, and West Side Story. I had never really been a huge fan of Ross Lynch before so I had no idea how good this movie was going to be. As I was listening to Ross speaking, I didn't find his voice to be "attractive". But then everybody broke out into singing and I was amazed! I later found out that Ross was the lead singer of a band with his two brothers, sister, and close friend called R5 and now I'm a fan. Anyway, TBM was a great little movie. Can't wait for the sequel! 7/10 stars.
Grease 2 (1982)
This is an underrated movie!!!
4.1!!! Whoa! This wasn't a bad movie at all! Sure, it wasn't nearly as good as the first movie, but it still was good! Grease had an excellent cast with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. Stockard Channing was downright hilarious as Rizzo, but she was just way too old to be playing a high school senior. But in Grease 2, Lorna Luft seemed young enough to play a character like that. Sure John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John were good looking people, but they weren't as hot as Maxwell Caulfield (SO CUTE) and Michelle Pfeiffer. Plus, I even thought some of the songs from this movie were better than the ones in the first. "Hopelessly Devoted To You," "Beauty School Dropout," and "Sandy" were incredibly cheesy songs. But in the sequel, I can't think one song that was cheesy. But, I will say the intro and closing song in the first were a lot better than ones in the sequel. To sum it all up, this is a funny, charming, and underrated movie. 9/10 stars.
Shake It Up (2010)
You people are crazy! This is a Great Show!
Compared to the other crap shows on the Disney channel, this show is way better than any of them. On the other Disney shows, there is always one ugly character (examples: Dez on Austin & Ally. Luke on Jessie. Zack & Cody on Suite Life of Zack & Cody.). But on this show I can't think of one character that is so annoying because of their appearance. Not even Deuce, who's got gargantuan eyebrows. This show has a great cast who actually can dance. Bella Thorne and Zendaya are adorable girls who I think have real talent in dancing and singing. The characters Rocky (Zendaya) and CeCe (Bella Thorne) are just downright hilarious. I love how CeCe can be such a dope sometimes and I just love it. However, my favorite characters happen to be Gunther (Kenton Duty) and Tinka (Caroline Sunshine) Hessenheffer. I love their accents, their ridiculous taste in fashion, their wickedness, and of course their acts they pull. In one episode (can't remember which one), they sang this hilarious song they wrote for a talent show. It was all about wanting a goat for Xmas and the lyrics were SO funny. But what really got me upset about this show was that they got rid of Gunther. Why?! Oh, why!!! I haven't seen the entire show so hopefully, they bring him back at the end (like what happened to Steve on Full House). Other than that, this is a great show!
The Lego Movie (2014)
Everything was NOT awesome
This movie was so so SO overrated. The jokes were terrible and Emmett was insanely annoying! I mean the first line was, "He's coming. Cover you butt." The moment I heard that line, I knew the movie was gonna go downhill from there. And I was right! The jokes flew by so fast, they went right over my head. But the ones I did get... weren't funny at all. Now I will admit I enjoyed the character Unikitty (I know, a cat/unicorn. Stay with me). She was pretty funny with the whole happiness thing and she kept saying no about the negative stuff (it's called irony). Plus the ending got boring. Around the time the people appeared on screen, the line cues got slower and slower (and more boring). Most people have been saying that the ending sucked (it did), but I like it because the movie finally ended. Anyway, this movie is bad! The only reason why I'm giving it a generous 5 is because the animation actually was awesome. That was one of the few good things about this movie. So unless you only pay attention to the animation and not the story line, this is not for you.
Divergent (2014)
Better than Hunger Games!!!!!
I loved this movie! The acting was great, the script was great, I loved every freakin' thing about this movie. However, I did think the book was better because it went over a lot details about the different characters. But still, I loved the way this movie was done. I am a teenager so I may have had a different perspective on it. After all, I was the one who dragged my family into seeing it (because I was the only one who wanted to go) and they weren't into it like I was. This movie was great with all the intense and romantic scenes thrown in all at once. It was well one and Shailene Woodley is a good actress. Looking forward to the rest of the movies on the big screen
The Little Shop of Horrors (1960)
This has got to be the worst movie I've ever seen!
I loved the 1986 version and all the songs performed and when I found the original on YouTube, I got excited and gave it a try. There was, however, a minor flaw in this film, NOT A SINGLE SONG WAS PERFORMED IN THIS MOVIE ONCE!!!!! The scene where Seymour killed the dentist was EXTREMELY unrealistic and unbelievably preposterous. HOW HARD DID SEYMOUR HAVE TO STAB THE DENTIST TO KILL HIM BY USING ONE OF HIS TOOLS??? Pitiful. Just Pitiful. And the Audrey II puppet must've been made straight out of the garbage can, didn't sound creepy when it spoke, and the only thing it said was, "Feed me." Jack Nicholson's scene wasn't too bad, but other than that, this movie SUCKED!
The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
I was SO unimpressed
This movie has got to be the worst of the batman series! I was talked into seeing this one and I was not looking forward it at all. But I finally said whatever and went. When the movie started with the "villain," the first thing that came to my mind was: "Where's the joker?" Well, I guess it made sense that they couldn't, due Heath Ledger's death. Anyway, I fell asleep through the middle of it and woke up about 3/4s into it and I wasn't confused at all about what was going on. I like Marvel, but I don't like DC. If you aren't into DC, this isn't for you. I would give it one star, but the only thing that's stopping me from doing that was Anne Hathaway's performance. 3/10 stars.
