King's Ransom (2005)
Rich Tycoon wanting to have his cake and eat it too.
I found this movie very easy to watch. Not only was it "in my opinion" a pretty good story, but it made me laugh out loud at times, which for me is very hard. Typical RICH MAN, WHO DOESN'T WANT HIS EX, TO HAVE NOTHING.Love Anthony Anderson, who, now that I think of it, couldn't really think of a better actor to play this part. It was down to the 'FACTS', how money can change almost any person, into a different person, then wonder how they got that way. Fun to watch, easy to watch, and good story. So, if your looking for something to take off your mind, and think about other people's RICH PEOPLE'S problems, this show will probably do the trick. Enjoy it, it 's worth watching.
Texas Trail (1937)
Black and white, sidekick, and locations
What can I say about Hoppe? Well even though these movies were made before I was born, I grew up watching cowboy movies. Still watch them, and when I hear his song at the beginning of each one I watch, and then see him and his beautiful horse, Topper riding, I still get excited. Love to hear his laugh, and feel he is definitely "a TRUE COWBOY'. This movie, just watched again, and not only is the story good, but love the black and white, and the true cowboy he was, at the drop of a hat, would help in anyway he could. The conniving bad guys always trying to get after him, but with the help of "GABBY', known as Windy in the movie, very good sidekick those two. Loved the movie, the location, the horses, the canyon, and the fact that he wanted to fight in the war, but was needed for important other things, he did it anyway, no complaints. If you love cowboys, and a true gentleman, Hoppe is the way to go.
The Fan (1996)
A must see for baseball fans, and Deniro fans.
If you are a major die hard fan of any sport, then not only will you enjoy this movie, but, we have come a long way since this movie was made, with our so called obsessions of our favorite players, of what we think and how they should play. Also, the money they are getting paid, all professional athletes, we seem to not only become obsessed with our teams and players, but we put them on a pedestal, to perform, no matter what.Thought, this movie kind of makes you think? Are they playing with their heart in the game or have we allowed, and part to blame, to make them almost "unreachable" and to win at all costs! No matter what, watch and enjoy. Deniro fans, couldn't have picked anyone better. I think it's a must see, for all of the above!! Makes you really think.
