Midsommar (2019)
Superb Suspense Horror 9/10
A slow burning piece of excellence. A believable storyline and characters topped with beautiful cinematography. A must watch in my opinion. 9/10
The VVitch: A New-England Folktale (2015)
Easily one of the worst films I've ever seen
I don't know what some reviewers have been smoking, but this film doesn't deserve anything above a 1. Nothing happens at all. I genuinely would rather sit on the toilet with severe diarrhoea then watch this again. Please believe me. Don't waste your time. 1/10
Host (2020)
One of the best horrors I've seen
Given this film is only 59 minutes long and recorded all on laptops/iPhones, it really is an excellent piece of cinema. Gripping from the first few minutes, believable storyline and acting/characters, it certainly gave me and my Mrs a skid mark in our underwear. Would definitely recommend this, but watch with the lights on!! 10/10
The Drop (2014)
One of my favourite films
I remember seeing the movie poster for this film and for some reason knew that it would be good. It's a slow burner, and when it finally ignites, it really does go bang.
Excellent actors, all which suit their individual roles in a superb storyline which is gripping from the intro, as any excellent film should do.
I've watched this film around 30-40 times, and each time is just as good as the previous. In all honesty, I don't think this film could be any better.
10/10
Making a Murderer (2015)
2+2=5. Orwell was right.
This is an incredible documentary. There is no doubt that Steven Avery was framed by the police in order to prevent the $36M law suit. I wonder how long this will go on until the State of Wisconsin admits to the unbelievable injustice of Avery and the corruption of its officers. This also proves how much power lies in the State and how they really can do whatever they want, and how they control all authorities across it's jurisdiction.
The Meg (2018)
Robbed in broad daylight in the cinema
I've just been held in a headlock by my local cinema for an hour and a half whilst they emptied my pockets of £7. I ended up phoning the police to report this daylight robbery. Worst film I've ever seen in my life.
