Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
What happened to Wonder Woman
Instead of Wonder Woman this character is a cross between Wonder Woman, Superman, and Merlin. I guess making her capable of doing anything was much easier than writing a decent script.
Battalion (2018)
It take effort to make a movie this bad
Where to start... from the beginning the filmography is awful. You can take a movie with sub par acting and make it look reasonably good with decent filmography, however they started with terrible filmography.
Next the acting, if it had been sub par it would have been a great improvement, instead it was godawful. Forget recruiting from an acting school for failed actors, I think the producer just walked into downtown and yelled "Hay, does anyone want to be in a movie?" then took anyone who showed up,
Special effects, while poor, they were the high point of this movie.
Militaristic realism, this is where they did worst of all, which took some work considering how poorly they did everywhere else. A 14 year old high school kid who had watched a few war movies could have done a better job with military chorography than was done here. People who appear homeless filling the ranks of the officer corps. Senior enlisted who act and look like they just saw a picture of a military unit once in a book. Junior enlisted who have no sense of military bearing or knowledge. Oh, and Battalion would have been much better titled as "A Disorganized Fire Team". There is no Battalion in this movie, it was likely produced with a budget of about $5.
Believe Me (2014)
Incredibly Anti-Christian movie
What is sold as a comedy drama is really just a hateful rant portraying Christians as little more than a gullible cult for white people. And while I know that many on the left believe just that, hence the reason the movie was made and some will hate my review, this Atheist can't help but notice the predominance of Latino and African-American people going into and coming out of Catholic and Baptist churches, as opposed to the white cult portrayed here. If you are Christian, or are tired of the constant rhetoric currently being hurled against Christians in this nation, this movie will do little more than show you the continuing religious bigotry coming from the left and Hollywood.
Taboo (2017)
Does not shove PC politics down your throat.
A good show about an interesting brutal man with a hidden streak of goodness and how he outmaneuvers everybody, but at a cost. Set at the tail end of the war of 1812.
Alexander (2004)
Talk about a bad movie
Talk about a bad movie, I could not get past the two hour mark, and that says a lot since I got past Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.
Real quick: Alexander and his dad were both Irish, I know this because they both used Irish accents in the movie.
Hollywood can't make a movie without a guy or lesbian main character. Here it's Alexander
spite no historical reference supporting this and the threat of lawsuits form 25 Greek lawyers, Oliver Stone decided to go with it. Oh, 25% of the movie is Alexander's gay love scenes, so
really gay.
Nearly all the actors appear to be trying to do Shakespeare.
All the men love eye liner.
The movie moves slower than a snail.
That sums it up, with far more than it deserved.
