Patria (2020)

A TV show that you must see it.
15 November 2020
An essential television series especially for all young Spaniards who still ignore the tragedy we had to endure for many years. It can probably be understood by some Europeans, mainly Irish, since they too endured terrorism for many years. HBO sticks to the book that gives rise to this series and ignores the history of ETA and the implications it had on the Basque and Spanish people, which can make this series very difficult to understand to people from countries far from our environment and culture.

A great TV series that you shouldn't miss it

This TV series develops a beautiful but tough story in Barcelona during the Franco dictatorship. It is probably difficult to understand in its totality if one has not lived or known the Spain of those years. The great performance of its protagonists rounds off this brilliant TV show

Brilliant photography but nothing else...

A TV series with a brilliant realization and photography; however, the story has no credibility whatsoever and flaw. The performance of the three protagonists is fair, but sometimes the overacting of Veronica Sanchez is irritating.

A failed TV show
2 January 2019
A TV show that fortunately only has six chapters. Violent and with a gratuitous cruelty, it only adds to this hyperinflation of TV shows, a great dose of boredom. Furthermore, the story in many phases is understandable.
