boring show

There are so many shows like this but this shouldn't be classified as a sci-fi show. It's more of a drama. Pretty boring if you're a sci-fi fan and being forced into a drama show. This is not what I expected. Slow paced and uninteresting. Season 1 was significantly better than season 2. I just couldn't bring myself to finish it. I feel like my mind isn't being challenged when you can guess exactly what is going to happen next. Too many unoriginal themes. The writers pushed this to quickly. There are many new actors in this show but they were just average. I have to put this near the bottom of what I've watched so far this year.

The Witcher: Blood Origin (2022)

poor story

This is what happens when directors say screw the story and let's just make an action movie out of it. Someone will like it. These egghead, conceited directors need to stop what they are doing and re-evaluate how much they are hurting this show. They probably never even read the books. I can see the downturn it's taking and it will not be pretty.

Netflix needs to stop ruining these story lines. All they care about is making money. What sucks is the fact they are dragging these great actors straight into the gutter with them. The Witcher is such a great series and this has to be the worst prequel I have ever watched.

Quantum Leap (2022–2024)

not poor acting, just poor dialogues

I was a big fan of the original show. Loved the actors and the story line. This one really threw a spin on the story. I really wish there was a satisfactory ending to the original show. I expected a reboot. But here we are with a sequel. Storyline wise, there isn't anything to compare to as this is all new. I like the general story but there are many dialogues that makes me cringe. I really feel whoever wrote this, rushed it. The actors aren't great either. I don't think they are bad but just mediocre. This does bring back some nostalgia but it's hard for me to keep wanting to watch more of it. Overall, I give 5 stars but that's probably being generous.

Emergency (2022)

beyond awful

Quite possible the worst movie I have seen in this past decade. I wish I could get the time back from watching this horrific film. Cops portrayed here did exactly what they were supposed to do. No racial profiling. Not shooting of black people. It was a film about wokeness but with a storyline that doesn't align to it's original idea. They tried to create a victim but that didn't come through as genuine. Nothing about this story was credible. Even if everyone was high and drunk, it still didn't make any sense.

The writing was bad, the acting was bad. Nothing came right. Just don't waste your time.

Watcher (I) (2022)

makes no sense

So you have this foreigner who is paranoid and afraid but yet she would follow a stranger around into some seedy strip club. It makes no sense whatsoever.
