Amphibia: Spider-Sprig/Olivia & Yunan (2021)
GRRRRR
WHAT THE HECK WAS THIS??? IM. AAAA. FJDHFJD IT WAS RLY GOOD.... THE BACKGROUNDS WERE GORGEOUS BUT IM CONCERNED FOR MY CHILDREN. I DONT HAVE CHILDREN BUT I WILL AND I'LL WANT TO SHOW THEM THIS SERIES BUT WHAT IF IT SCARES THEM?? I JUST.... UGHHH MARCY MY BELOVED. HOW DARE YOU LET ME GET ATTACHED TO SUCH A WONDERFUL AMAZING CHARACTER AND THEN RIP THEM AWAY FROM ME. IM MAD. IM SCARRED FOR LIFE.
In all seriousness tho while it did shake me to my core and give me a tremendous amount of anxiety, it was really, really good. My only complaint would be that it was too short to be honest, i think i want episodes like this to be full episodes, like true colors. But overall it was beautiful and funny and heart wrenching. I am a mess and i loved it.
Shigatsu wa kimi no uso (2014)
a great show!!
This is one of the first animes that i watched, and one of my favorites!! its also one of the few shows that made me cry like actual tears, so id say they did a pretty good job.
Ano hi mita hana no namae o bokutachi wa mada shiranai. (2011)
so good and so SAD
This show is... amazing. okay, look, i dont cry at shows. i dont. i'll sob, get all emotional, and think about it for days, weeks, months, but i dont cry. i just dont cry a lot... ever. but this show? i dont think any show has made me cry more than this. i mean--i have tears streaming down my cheeks every time i watch it. between the idea of a little girl passing in such a tragic way, the lovable characters being so torn apart, and my own desire for a time thats now gone... i just lose it. it breaks me. especially the last episode, i mean, all the talk about summer, childhood, etc. its just. aahhhh its so good.
Infinity Train (2019)
INFINITY TRAINNN
Me and my ma watched the whole thing in two days (S1 on the 1st day, S2 the next) and OH BOY WE LOVED IT. The show really reminds me of Adventure Time, which is my mother's favorite show and one of my favorite shows. This show is so funny and intriguing and sad at times... a wild ride and an awesome ride. I was obsessed for weeks. 10/10 would binge again and again. Can't wait for S3!
Hamilton (2020)
a masterpiece
I had wanted to see this show for a year or two, and then the put it on Disney+! I can't tell you how excited I was. Ooh boy.
Anyway, an amazing show. Lin-Manuel Miranda is brilliant. The cast did wonderful. Such good music. I'm obsessed. I listen to the soundtrack every day, any chance I get. I sing the songs while I do chores. And it really brought out the history-lover in me. I've been researching the Hamiltons and the Schuylers and Lafayette and stuff... I'm considering becoming a historian because of this musical. That or a theater actor.
Adventure Time: Distant Lands: BMO (2020)
still has the AT vibe!
I was super scared that distand lands wasn't gonna have the same energy, but boy was i wrong! bmo is the same funny and adorable little character i remember, and y-5 was a great addition, fitting well with the rest of the show (kinda reminds me of fiona). super excited to see what comes next because ep. 1 is great so far! (6/29)
Adventure Time (2010)
one of my favorite shows
A great, heart-warming, action-packed and funny show. great characters with lots of depth. even finn, the main character, is awesome, which is unusual in my opinion. he respects women and despite being this manly hero, he knows its okay to like, cry and stuff, which is all great to teach kids and adults alike. great animation and wacky story as well. a well made and entertaining show that will forever be very dear to me. i used to watch with my friends and family as a kid and had many toys and games, so this show is important to me.
Legends of Tomorrow: Slay Anything (2020)
Best episode tbh
Probably like, actually my favorite episode. I love so many eps, but this one just rules. The comedy, the drama, the dance?? All gold. Loved getting to see more of Mick.
Arrow: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Four (2020)
REALLY cool.
Just wow. The film style was really impressive. I felt the need to leave a review on this one 'cause... there's just something special. There were specific scenes, little details, that made me, as a writer, get all excited and fanboy-y. This episode was such a throwback, it really made me happy. Amazing.
Joker (2019)
Overall, very good
A very good movie. I wasn't quite prepared when I went to see it, so it did damage me quite a bit. I might have a scar where I scratched myself after the movie from the anxiety, and I give you that information because it's basically me saying you should be careful when seeing this movie. I am not actually very sensitive, in fact, the violence didn't affect me at all, but it was all too real--the political side of it.
tl;dr: It was a very good movie. It was a bit slow, I felt, but well made, and Joaquin did brilliantly. But be careful. It's very realistic and can be very mentally damaging.
A Dog's Journey (2019)
Not as good as A Dog's Purpose.
Um. I personally didn't like it. Too cheesy, didn't think it was well made and definitely liked the first one more. The best part was Abby Ryder Fortson for sure. Worst part was probably Shane. So, in my opinion, bad movie, but if you like really heartwarming and cheesy stuff, you'll probably enjoy it.
Shazam! (2019)
Whew.
I felt that the intro was garbage. That whole part was cheesy and it moved way too quick. The second it switched over, though, I felt it was 10x better. I enjoyed the movie. It was sweet and funny and had good action.
If you don't like violence, this is not the movie for you, however I, being the sick sort of person I am, liked it.
Amazing casting. A really, really great cast. Mr. Levi did very well, and some of the best child actors were picked.
But, there's more criticism: I hated the villains, not because they were bad, but because they were... bad at being bad. They were not threatening and super cheesy, probably the only really cheesy part other than the opening.
But yes, an overall good movie. I suppose if you're childish like me you will enjoy it as much as I did. But I wouldn't suggest showing this to young children. While I myself am a child, I'm not easily disturbed. This film would probably be easily seen as disturbing, though.
It (2017)
Not scary.
I did not find it frightening enough. A good movie woth good, steong characters, but bad effects, therfore it wasn't believable. Plus, could've gone without some of the cheesy, badly acted scenes. 8/10!
Legends of Tomorrow: Hell No, Dolly! (2018)
Great epsiode!
This show is getting a bit crazy, but in a good way. Good episode and good ending. LOVE IT
Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988)
Good movie!
I think it's a really good movie! Cheesy, of course, but over all, hilarious! If you're a young child like I was when I first watched it, you might get a bit scared, but probably not too bad.
The Walking Dead: What Comes After (2018)
Perfect.
It couldn't be better. This episode had me bawling. I haven't cried this hard since Carl. I was so terrified throughout the whole episode. I'm also very confused now, so I can't wait until next Sunday.
Stranger Things (2016)
Perfect for Halloween or just any other time.
This show gets you hooked. It's so intriguing, so well done, it's has great acting, and it has great writers. One of my favorites.
Supergirl (2015)
Couldn't be any better.
This show is so perfect, it makes me so happy. I love it, it is one of my favorites!
The Flash (2014)
AWESOME.
This show is such a big part of me. I know that sounds like a lot, but I started watching it when it first came out, and I think it had a big impact on who I am today. Although it can get cheesy, it is still one of my favorite shows, and the first one I watched out of the Arrowverse.
Arrow (2012)
Great show!
I love this show so much, and the whole Arrowverse is just amazing to me! This one really stands out, but I love it just as much!!
Legends of Tomorrow (2016)
One of my favorites!!!
One of my favorite shows, I love it so much! So far, season 4 isn't the best, but I think it's gonna get better, and seasons 1 - 3 are amazing!
Legends of Tomorrow: Here I Go Again (2018)
Perfect!
One of my favorite episodes ever! It was done so well!
