What a waste of my time
5 June 2017
Warning: Spoilers
possible spoiler alert SOOOOOOOOO disappointed in this movie. I had my mother over to watch this silly movie that won numerous awards for some odd reason. THE HELP, great movie, THE COLOR PURPLE, great movie. This piece of Hollywood garbage is not a good movie. I did not understand the plot, all the stupidity in the movie. I don't want to give anything away in case you decide to waste a couple of hours of your life on this crap movie but be warned it is a stupid movie

Eight Dollars for this Joke?
11 March 2010
You know I don't know really where to start, should I start at the weak storyline or the weak graphics? The trailer sports some really neat camera work, but the end product was lacking. The storyline of UNDERWORLD was super duper, this one was lackluster. OK, OK, I am jumping around. Listen, this is at most a rental flick. The storyline of the history regarding the wolfman was just plain stupid. I won't give it away, but trust me you will be back on the board agreeing after you watch this flick. The Wolfman himself was a sad display considering the technology we have today to produce such films as the Hobbit and Avatar. Don't expect any Oscars for this bad boy, as a matter a fact , don't expect anything from this movie. Wolfman, nope nope Teen Wolfman or Wolfman Jacked or maybe Wolfman 1982. Hugely disappointed.

30 days is a fresh view on an old theme
30 October 2007
After reading many of the reviews, both good and bad, well I took time out from my schedule, no Sunday night football, to go to the movies. My wife is not into horror films and my kids are just too young for this genre. I am not going to go into the storyline, just a quick review from a 30 something. Not a classic. It is a movie with some questions to be answered, but it has an overall good horror gauge. The Descent was probably one of the best suspense horrors in the last ten years and it did not leave a ton of questionable antics. The great thing about this movie is that is done with a serious tone, none of those cheesy one liners and the actors do a good job of looking scared out of their mind. The villains in this movie are convincing. We do not get to know a lot about them, but one thing we know for sure they are brutal. I recently watched 28 weeks later and compared to the first one, the 2nd one had some silly crap in it and was overall a big disappointment. This movie was a good movie for a matinée price. I don't think it was worth the $8 i paid, but overall I was not disappointed.

Just a fun horror flick
29 July 2007
Any fan of 80's horror has to see this movie. Fact is that even if you are a fan of horror at all it worth the rental. Cool concept, great casting, and even some silliness that had my wife just looking over at me. I was rolling during the movie at parts. Hats off to the person who come up with this idea. Very Very much worth the rental. Would not have wanted to spend $8 at the movies, but worth a $4 rental for sure. Don't go into this one thinking you are going to be scared to death. Even the end of it has a part in the credits you gotta see, it was in front of your eyes, but some of us missed. Not my wife, but I missed it. Behind the Mask is not kids so keep that in mind. The graphic horror is not that bad, but some kids would still have bad dreams.

A History of Falseness by the critics
18 June 2006
What in God's name where the critics watching when they viewed this flick? This is a poorly directed movie, along with a mediocre plot line, and some terrible acting from the co-stars. Without giving away too much of the movie, I will start with the broad stroke of the movie's plot line. A man loves his family, and when some guys thinks he someone else, well heck he tells them that he's not that guy. They just don't believe him, he is that guy to them, and the whole movies just gets more stupid from there. If you like bad acting and a stupid plot, well here's your movie. A history of stupidity. The movie that drowns you in falseness.

X Men make last stand due to bad screen writing and poor plot
18 June 2006
Wow, where do I start on this fiasco of a movie. In regards to my affection for the first two movies in the series, please see my rating for them. I gave them both high marks, and had anticipated the third movie with much joy and glee. My glee turned to flee not long into this horrible flick. The only thing that remotely saves it from being a total disaster is the graphics, and the hope that you will see it develop into a good movie. If you wasted 8 buck o roonies like myself to see this in theater, well don't feel bad, because some poor jokers sat out all night to see it on opening night. This one is even debatable on rental. Let it go to the special section, or as I call it "The Last Stand."
