I have been watching AJLT mostly out of nostalgia, but not really enjoying it until this episode. Most of it feels cringe and unrelatable, and didn't have any of the magic we all loved in the original series.
This episode (aside from Charlottes usual ridiculousness) finally featured all of the things that we loved about SATC. Character development, emotion, amazing wardrobe, and Carrie reading from her book. Miranda thus far had not felt like her original character at all, being all clingy and following Che around like a lost puppy, but the fight between her and Steve evoked that nostalgia that has been sorely lacking. I sincerely hope Aiden actually comes back, he was one of my favorite characters and if we can't have Big at least we could have our other comfort couple. If the show continues in this vein it will be far more enjoyable.
