Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

Now I'm not a total 100% doctor strange fan. The negative reviews do have some truth. For me it was Wanda vision 2.0 which is fine but don't title it doctor strange she made the movie. It was her story from the start doctor strange was just there to stop her. The story felt crammed they should have kept it a close to a 3 hour movie. You jump into the action right away it doesn't stop for a breath. The introduction of America Chavez needs more padding how are we to have a connection with a new character just thrown in from the start. I felt more a connection with the illuminati than with her. Maybe a limited series of her own would have solved this? Also the title definitely misleads us. Multiverse of madness, I'm expecting multiverse madness not short visits to 3 or 4 universes. Loki was more of a multiverse of madness than this. With the negatives out of the way. This movie was still entertaining and creepy as hell which I liked. It's definitely unique in the marvel universe and opens the possibilities for more crazy stories in the future. Wanda was amazing she is the strongest hero and they let you know that. I'm mean just murdering the illuminati in 2 seconds was great and unexpected. It was also great to see professor x, captain carter, and mr fantastic in a universe coexisting. I hope they make other movies with these characters especially with John krasinski as mr fantastic. He's perfect for that role. Now dead in that universe but so what. This movie and the mcu clearly shows no hero is safe and there are countless versions of them. All in all this movie for me holds up to an exciting and interesting ride any marvel fan should enjoy. But again don't anyones word for it check it out for yourself!

A Quiet Place Part II (2020)

A quieter place

If your down to see a movie just for the anxiety then this is the movie for you! Spoilers! Still no story, no origin of how these mindless creatures came to earth. Just to destroy things that make sound? They seem to able to out run the creatures in this movie so that's new. Just watching the main characters almost kill themselves by making noise. And looking at dirty feet all movie. No new revelations or plot twists or anything. Oh and It ends on a lovely cliff hanger again. If you dare to watch wait till it's available for streaming.

Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020)

It's Bill and Ted. And it's EXCELLENT!

It's exactly what a Bill and Ted fan would hope for. Didn't feel like a forced sequel to a classic. For me, it fits in perfect for the end of a trilogy. Acting was great, story was crazy as hell and the same bodacious humor you'd expect from any Bill and Ted film. The only thing missing was Carlin sadly but I'm sure he'd be stoked if he was still with us. If your a fan you gotta check it out and don't forget to PARTY ON DUDES!

Wounds (2019)

Please for the love of god don't waste your time!

I'm not one to bash movies, but wtf? Absolutely no story! good actors but they should be ashamed for even taking the part. It would have been more enjoyable watching paint dry. Honesty who would make a movie with absolutely no story or substance is beyond me. I'm all for leaving things open for interpretation but come on. The only thing I got from this was evil cockroaches taking over the world? The elusive college kids that never show up? Text messages you have to pause to read for any glimmer of hope for context. Waste of money waste of time. First 1 Star I ever given and that is too much.

A Quiet Place (2018)

Had amazing potential, makes absolutely no sense

First, I enjoyed some parts of this film. The suspense was on point. Acting was good. It wasn't totally unwatchable but for me, it fell short of what it could have been. I'm just going to list why I disappointed and confused.

Spoilers below:

• are they really aliens? How did they get here? They look and act like violent creatures with only one purpose to kill everything that makes noise, how would that attitude and intellect allow for interstellar travel?
• how does a shot gun to the head kill it if it's indestructible, come on now we have weapons on earth that would crush these things in seconds.
• of course ultrasonic sound is gonna freak it out if small sound attracts it, it really takes over a year to figure that out?
• where's the beginning ? And ending? It Just dumps us in the middle.
• why would you have a baby in this post apocalyptic world? And what do you do when the kid starts screaming? A box?
• they could have lived by the waterfall if they could scream by it.
• lastly everything on this planet makes noise, trees falling in the woods, rain on the ground, the damn wind. But these things can hear a picture drop on the floor and immediately show up to kill you? Ridiculous.

Would have been a great movie with more thought behind it. But I did feel robbed leaving the theater.
