FBI: Most Wanted: Above & Beyond (2024)
Decent but could be more realistic
I realize liberties are taken in making a film or TV show. Sometimes it requires a suspension of disbelief. It's sometimes annoying for people whom work in that oppression. Doctor to doctor, cop to cop, medic to medic, etc. Try to at least get some stuff right. Dylon McDermott's character says the bad guy has an automatic weapon when it was just a semi. Be accurate. Please don't push political agendas. Next thing they will have a magazine that holds 100 clips.
Good premise. Dick Wolf knows how to make a great show and spin off new shows in an appropriate time which generally hit the target.
One small suggestion is perhaps spend more time in the plot and less on characters in their personal lives whom come and go, seemingly for really no reason.
The Fall of the House of Usher (2023)
Wasted Potential
So much potential. The other movies have been great. Plot, cast, writing... all very well done. Solid cast, well casted I would say, too. Story was pretty good. It doesn't do Justice to Poe though. It really fell short. There are a few good angles but it can be pretty derivative. This was a clearinghouse on all the issues on one side of the aisle. It completely hijacked the show's ability to be truly good and is a huge departure from the genre and plot. Also, it's clearly written by kids. There were so many things said which were not said in 1980. I'm not saying this with any animosity, it seems like it was written by a bunch of millennials. If it wasn't trying to touch on every single issue, it could be a good horror show.
Evil (2019)
Started off with great promise
The first couple seasons were very good. I told anyone whom hadn't seen it, they should check it out. It had excellent potential. It then took an abrupt turn and went downhill like Mikaela Shiffrin with rockets. The daughters are not only beyond annoying, they not only detract from the show, they don't add anything positive in any way other than boosting birth control sales. The endless yammering and screaming is unbearable. The plot line became disjointed. I'm not supposed CBS dumped it. Perhaps CBS paid Paramount+ to take it off their hands. It seems like the writers are floundering. It now doesn't progress. Broom the writing staff and go back to the original formula please. It had great potential, I hope they get it back on track.
Deputy (2020)
Deputy (2020-2020): Pay for an advisor
Some shows get it right and have good advisors and it makes it so much more real and enjoyable. I was really looking forward to this show. The only thing they got right are the uniforms.
