Horrible Bosses 2 (2014)

Can't beat #1 but good for laughs

Need a few laughs, go check this movie out. The 1st one was a hit and while most sequels fall short...this wasn't too bad.

My wife and I went to see this because we were looking for a good comedy. I will say, we got our laughs. The characters really work well together and Jennifer Aniston is too funny.

While the 3 friends plotted murder in the first movie, things start a bit differently in this one. They have started their own business and are looking investors. When things don't go as planned...of course...they now look for a criminal plot to gain a positive result.

As with the 1st horrible bosses, nothing goes to plan and laughter is your reward.

Hollywood Mess Up

Misled by previews and reviews, I decided to go see this movie...what a waste of time & money. This movie was very long and I'm not sure why or what type of point the producers were trying to make. It seems they wanted to show Moses (Christian Bale) was a real person...falling in love, getting married, having a family and even tried to show he didn't much believe in God.

They had God being portrayed by a little boy with an attitude...very strange. Moses and the little boy (God) didn't agree on much...maybe about as much as this movie wanted to agree with the Bible.

This is a biblical movie with a Hollywood spin, made for income - not to bring people closer to God or to believe in God.

If their goal was to make it more Hollywood or believable...stop it. God doesn't need our help to be believed.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014)

Very Slow

This movie was very slow and draw out...not as good as the others. It took forever to explain what they were doing and to get to anything of excitement/the action in this movie.

If this movie had been the 1st hunger games, the entire series would be in trouble. With the success of the previous movies, maybe this one had just too much to live up to & that didn't happen.

Nothing about this movie will leave you talking or craving the next one. Katniss made her name from her survival skills, the movie made us yearn more because of the action and neither of these surfaced for the 1st hour or 2 of this movie.

Slow and Disappointing. Their plan of setting up a plot for future movies was fine, however they didn't have to make this one so boring to do so.

Can't be serious

Those that have reviewed this movie must be involved in receiving monies from it. I'm a regular movie goer and this had to be one of the worst I've seen in a long time. Very embarrassing for Chris Rock.

Rosario Dawson did her best to make this movie watchable and even believable but this was sad. Chris Rock has never been a good actor...so imagine combining bad acting with a terrible movie. Do such and you get Top Five.

There are many big names that make an appearance or two in this movie, yet it doesn't help. Cedric the Entertainer plays more of a role than most and has some funny parts. He is like a promoter, pimp, etc that will provide a few laughs but the movie is just awful.

This also taught me to not trust the reviews on here. Wow!!!
