Twenty Twenty-Four (2016)
You should watch it
Only reason I'm writing a review is frustration.
It starts good.
Colors...well a bit dull for my taste but didn't let it influence with the story.
Then...gaps. Empty stares and generally no action or sense. Shots moving from one room to another, talking to AI. I may or may have not dosed off a little.
But ok, maybe we are arriving at the point.
Then the crazy starts. And it goes on and on and on and on. Without a break.
I believe the director could have described agony without making the audience go through it.
Last 30 min just watching at the clock.
When will it end.
As the end approaches I realize that it was shown already somewhere in the middle.
But still, I think to myself, maybe I don't get it. Give it a chance to prove you wrong.
And then it's the most obvious ending.
What the...? Why?? All that trouble to write, act, shoot, direct, edit! And for what?
It's not about interpreting the end, I would be super fine with open ending, it just seems like the easy way out. Out of like an hour of full on insanity.
And where is the elevator they mention at the start?
And why he couldn't open the door?
And...oh it doesn't matter.
Hello Herman (2012)
Mostly just disappointed
Truth be known- I've only watched this because of Norman Reedus. And because of him it's a 2 star, otherwise zero. I'm so sorry to be so disappointed about this movie. I understand that there must be so much good intentions behind it and it's a big story...but. But what in all saints name were they thinking??? Most people already wrote all you need to know about this movie so I'm not going to repeat that. Just...if you are really still set to watch this movie, then just focus on Reeduses blue eyes and try not to notice everything else. And if your intelligence gets insulted few times...and if basic components that should be holding story together are falling apart...just, you know, thank god they've had decent stylist who blended outfits perfectly with the light ratio. Great job there!
