I think that this was more of The Thing just in the ocean. A virus taking over people, regeneration of itself, killing indiscriminately. Neat story, good sci-fi, good actors. Worth watching.

I just watched this for the 1st time a few minutes ago. Not very original but it's worth watching. Some other reviews are 50/50 but the second half of the movie gave me chills so it did have some scares and decent suspense. I noticed that there is a sequel so if it comes out on cable, I'll check it out. I just wish the girl didn't cry the whole time. I did think it was cool that when they broke through one door, instead of an exit, there was continuous hallways, corridors, dead ends, etc. It is a cross between Blair Witch and House on Haunted Hill. If I was staying overnight in someplace that is supposed to be haunted, I sure's heck wouldn't lock myself in. Good to watch with the lights out and maybe a thunderstorm going on. That would set a good tone for a decently scary movie and at the end, was the dude " that " hungry? Geeze. Make sure you have extra batteries for your flashlight.
