Law & Order (1990)
THE BEST!
I've watched Law & Order since it began, way back in 1990. I've watched every episode of every season, year after year. I've also watched all of the spin-off series. While I've loved them too, none are as good as the original.
When they decided to end the series several years ago I literally cried. So seeing them come back has been good, along with Det. Stabler to his own series & continuing (as always) to watch SVU. It's been like having the family back together again.
I've rated many shows & movies over the years but this is the only "10" I've ever given. I can't recommend it enough!
Black and Missing (2021)
Informative & compelling
I thoroughly enjoyed this doc. Not enjoyed in terms of entertainment value, but rather subject matter and importance of the issues illustrated. It's a subject that has always made me angry because of the cruel in-your-face bigotry.
This past summer we saw the truth of the whole "missing white woman" syndrome. At the same time of the Gabby P. Situation there was a father of a missing young black man (Daniel R.) in Arizona that was desperately trying to get air time & the mother of another missing young black man (Jelani D.) in Illinois that was going through the same struggle. I make this point because this series illustrated that exact same point repeatedly just doing so using other older cases.
I'm thankful this doc was made because until folks admit there's a problem there's no way to come up with any positive, working solution.
The Clown and the Candyman (2021)
Outstanding
This is one of the most informative, interesting docs I've watched in ages. I'm planning to let it all sink in & then watch again. Several ideas posited within the doc really got me thinking.
