The Family Man (2019)
Family Man does what multi-crore Bollywood can never do..
Let me just start by saying that this is what we deserve when we pay for the tickets or subscriptions to watch stuff produced by Bolly-frikkin-wood and yet keep on getting served crap after crap.
This series has no Khans, Dhawans, Shroffs or Kapoor with their suave looks and neat hairstyle even through they are portraying a working class Indian man. There is no over acting.. no dance sequence .. and no repeated poor jokes which are painful to experience.
On the contrary, this is an amazing series with an amazing cast who make you feel you belong in their world. The portray what many of us really are a common people. The plot is so simple yet so captivating .. Sri and JK steal the show with every dialogue delivery...!! Their important work is marred by their struggle of poor pays .. their undercover cool status is on the conflict with a new India eating pasta in fancy restaurants. It's such a funny and real sequence of events that we can relate to.
I would say well done to this show .. and I would recommend everyone to watch it.
It's a Pity that it isn't produced for International Audience.
Ad Astra (2019)
So what was this movie about?
I don't get what this movie was all about. This was just a ridiculous plot with big star cast .. it doesn't deserve a 6* rating here that might just be by the fans of Brad.
Apart from that it's complete malarkey!
Betaal (2020)
The name is enough .. it is really BeTaal
The name pretty much explains this series. It is Be Taal means there is no tuk or taal (ie no reason or rhyme) in this series.
Complete waste of time and if you read this message please do not watch it.
Sachin (2017)
Fantastic watch
The docudrama is not for everyone at least not for the people who aren't into cricket. But for the rest it's pure delight.
It catches the imagination of generation of Indian millennials and portrays it beautifully with the evolution of Cricket's global superstar SRT!
It's nostalgic trip down the memory lane with moments of high, lows, heartbreaks, glory, and national pride. I would highly recommend it and the watch will be surely rewarding.
