Made me miss George H. being in the world...
14 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
His son was good and a carbon copy of old dad! Uncanny. Brian Wilson sounded good, and great choice of song.

I disagree with another reviewer that did not like Conan O'brien. I thought he did a decent job singing.

He was not the best singer I've ever heard, but he certainly was NOT bad. I've missed seeing him on tv or anywhere else.

So that was fun & refreshing. Overall, I thought the tribute was great and heard some songs I never knew Harrison did.

If he was watching from heaven, he would have been delighted I am sure!! I miss that he is gone from this earth, and not walking among us and still creating music and good vibes.

Loved the film, disliked the music!
14 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I loved this film, you can't go wrong with a Page / Gordon combo! However...the choice of over-the-top music composition and too much volume in certain scenes, made it a bit cheesy in parts. The beginning has more than a few scenes that pan to the trees and then the "monumental" music bellows (a bit hoaky, like a bad episode of Dark Shadows)! There was even a scene with the dog in the shed that sounds like a composition that came right from the original Star Trek tv show (I kid you not. It was almost identical).

I gave it 8 stars though, because of the story and those 2 iconic actresses, which made it highly enjoyable!

Splitting Up Together (2018–2019)

Watched for the two actors.
29 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Watched the pilot "because" of the two actors that I've always enjoyed in other shows. Don't care for the title though. Had to IMDB Oliver Hudson to find out the name, since it's so forgettable. Negative conotation to the title and would have been better with just a one word name. Other than that, pilots are usually slow and shows get better 3 or 4 in, but I liked this first episode. Especially the "centipede" gag. Both characters are likeable, each with their own central viewpoints. Kids aren't obnoxious or annoying (like some shows). All around, a pretty good first start, and hope to watch more than just a first season. Also, good to see Bobby Lee again! We always enjoyed him on the old "mad tv" show, but haven't seen him in anything since then. I'm sure he's been in other projects, but we must have missed those.
