The Heiress (2021)
Hereditary meets The Conjuring
Let me start by saying if you want a big Hollywood studio jump scare horror, you probably won't like this film. I love horror and this film was such a pleasant surprise. The writers have made a creepy ghost story set in modern rural England. I jumped on a few occasions and instantly felt the emotion from the lead actress.
For a modern English horror this was very very good and on par with the original Woman in Black for those old enough to remember that on TV.
It's a strong 7 for me based on story and the lead cast. Also an extra thumbs up for having two female leads for a change.
Hope they do a sequel
Hooligans at War: North vs. South (2015)
Quite Good
I've seen better quality films but I didn't think this was too bad. I liked the fact the gangster bits were set around London and not always at a football match (in fact there is no football mentioned in the entire film) and the war stuff was OK but some of it was pointless (walking round a field).
I do enjoy watching low budget films and by reading other people's opinions as well they didn't have much budget so fair play
Acting was good from the main cast, some of the others let it down a bit though.
Gonna give it 7/10 as it did make me laugh a few times with the mask bit and the cab bit and also enjoyed the battle and fights
Would have been better if made with better equipment though
