Little House: Look Back to Yesterday (1983)
Albert here and there
In "home again", Laura said that Albert would return years later as "Dr. Albert Ingalls". It's not so easy if he's dead! I never really cared for the character "Albert" (actor Matthew Laborteauk did a perfect job though) after he was responsible for Mary's child and Mr. Edward's wife died in the fire after Albert had smoked a pipe in the basement in an earlier episode. Funnily enough, Albert was never punished for causing 2 deaths. Apparently it wasn't murder, but negligent manslaughter. He also later used heroin, so he wasn't very smart either.
But the chemistry between Laura and Albert in this movie is amazing, even if Caroline wasn't in it.
Ray Donovan: The Movie (2022)
Who is being buried in the beginning?
Super TV-show but the last 1 or 2 sesons.
When this movie starts, we see Ray bury a corpse, but we do not see who it is. I guessed it was Mickey, but it was not. But who is it then?
A slightly slow film, but a film that gives us Ray D fans a lot of answers, but not all.
What has happened / will happen to Lena?
What will happen to Connor in the future? U. S. Marines until he dies?
Bunchy also still has something unknown about his person, as well as his future.
Last but not least, does Ray D survive at the end of the movie?
The Knick (2014)
This is an absolute masterpiece
The caster for this show deserves an applause for hirering Clive Owen as Dr. Thackery. Mr. Owen is THE only man who can play that role in its 2 outer ends, a clever doctor and a cocain addict, switching between these ends sometime in one single scene!
Another star IMO is Eve Hewson as Lucy Elkins. I the beginning she has very little to work with in the scrpit, but she does it really good, and as her role become bigger and bigger she really show a lot of facets of a nurse from that time. She is very clever of showing face expression in severel situatios.
Chris Sullivan does a really great job as Tom Cleary, most of the time. Maybe it is the director, but I think his attracing with sister Harriet is done too quickly, when we learn of Clearys childhood.
Some of the inventions in the show is pushed too much together compared to real time, but as a TV show it is done in a credible mode.
Some might fing the surgery to mush to see. I personly find it really good, as it show how and why some of the inventions was nessesary. Really big thank you to the crew to dare to make it this way.
One big, really big, complain is, Why the f.... did this show not go on? If some of the leading actors did not want to continue, maybe a leap forward in time, could show other difficulty later on.. I mean a show like LOST got 7 seasons!!! Why not The Knick. To me this show is as good as Breaking Bad, and can anybody see Breaking Bad endning after 2 serson?
Last thing is, the show should show a little info of realtime situations at the satrt of each episode as it done in (I think) Episone 10 in 1. Season (cocain sold in farmacy without a prescription from a doctor)
Vikings: All at Sea (2020)
ivar is becomming more like a human and less of an dictator
In the beginning of Ivar as a "grown-up", many wrote that Alex was acting badly. I'm not so sure. He is getting better and better, but I thought he had peeked a while ago. Now with his acting together with Igor I think he is at his best in this show.
The show is taking too long at sea with Ubbe, and too little with Ivar and Hvidtserk and their plan for returning to Kattegat.
