Too much emotional

"Justice Delayed is Justice Denied"

Its a emotional courtroom drama which deals the with a sensitive topic happens in India. Even with a strong casting and good thread the movie doesn't have any sparkling moments to keep up the enthusiasm high for the viewers. Acting wise it was a cakewalk for Jyothika as she don't have anything extraordinary to do. Other actors Parthipan, Bhagyaraj and Thyagaraj did neat job in their suppoorting roles.

Overall its a draggy courtroom drama with a predictable storyline and twist. Suriya and Jyothika deserves a huge round of applause for starting a revolution by releasing their movie directly through a OTT platform, which will be a inspiration for many others to come forward.

Laila is a teenage girl with Cerebral Palsy studies at Delhi University. She is also a lyricist and composer, she felts heartbroken and left college when she is rejected by her band lead singer. Later she receives a scholarship from New York University and moved there with mom. Its the story about Leila, her self realisation and desires, also about the bond between she and her Mom. The movie is all about how Laila find her abilities in her disabilities.

Generally its a really heart touching story with a strong script which deals the taboos like sex, physically disabled and sexual orientation. Kalki Koechlin delivers a remarkable performance as Leila and it was so touching. As Leila's Mom the character was so safe in the hands of Revathy. The plot makes us realise that the desires to of differently abled or physically challenged people are also same as of normal people.

Ayla: The Daughter of War (2017)

Incredible cute little story

Sergeant Suleiman from Turkey finds a abandoned little girl in the war field while he serves in Korea. This little girl captures the heart of Suleiman and he takes her of him and name her as Ayla. The extraordinary father daughter relationship brought a heartwarming joy to other soldiers in the amidst of war. When the war comes to close Suleiman been asked to return to home country, but he is hesitant to abandon Ayla. Rest of the story narrates what happened to Ayla when war is over and will he takes her with him or not??

Its an incredible movie based on a true story. The cuteness of Ayla and her bonding with Suleiman will definitely steal our hearts.

A Must Watch

Yong-Goo is a mentally unfit single father being wrongly accused and sentenced to death for rape and murder of an elementary school kid. Since he is been sentenced, his 6 year old Yeung-sung left abandoned, Yong-Goo's cell mates helps him in meeting with his daughter. The miracle depicts in the title is about the meetings happens between Young-Goo and Ye-Seung in the jail and how it brings joy and life changes to other cell mates. with lots of emotional and laughing moments.

The film narrates as flashback, from where his daughter become a law school student and trying to prove her father's innocence. Its an emotionally heartwarming film mixed with lots of laughing moments, tells the beautiful story of relationship between mentally unfit father and his daughter. This movie will definitely left us with tears.

Choked (2020)

Watchable Family Drama

This films opens to a middles class couples Sarita and Sushan lives in Mumbai City. Sarita works at Bank and Sushant is jobless and keep switching jobs in between. As like every story the main problem in here is also money and another one is always choked sink. Story turns around when bundles of money starts popping up from their drainage.

Its a average movie experience compared other creations of Anurag Kashyap, which showcases the trials and tribulations within a middle class family along with the predominance of money in their life. As his debut performance in Bollywood movie Roshan Mathews did a decent along with Saiyami Kher. Its a one time watch drama people looking for something different.

Its a beautifully knitted and heart touching drama based on how love so deep can become more strong and caring during hard times, especially at the time of illness. Both the lead pairs topped up the directorial excellence with their performance.

A must watch Korean Drama for those who like some heartwarming romance stories.

One time watch comic satire

Gulabo Sitabo is a comic satire sets in Lucknow, where Mirza (Amitabh Bachan) is a greedy and cheeky landlord of a mansion. He wants to kick out all his old tenants, so that he can gets the sole ownership of the property and make more money out of it. Things gets turn around when archaeology department and a lawyer comes in claiming for the historical importance of the mansion.

Its a one time watchable slow paced drama with some good laugh moments. Both Amitabh and Ayushman Khurana did an exceptional performance.

"Summer of 98"

Well created family drama sets in the background of a typical middle class family in India. Its very refreshing and heartwarming series which is 100% relatable to most 90's kids. It takes us down through the memory lane and make us connect to all those untouched feelings, little things and moments we all lived in our past. It touch base all our nostalgic things like Shakthiman, WWF Trump Cards, Cigarette Candies, Walkman etc.

Its a flawless creation emphasised on the value of a family mixed with all sorts of emotions and feelings, which will definitely make us watch completely with a smile. All the characters did a great job especially Vineesh Bansal and Mona Singh.

Fast & Furious Wheelbarrow Ride

Victor is a teenage boy who works as a wheelbarrow puller in a market of Paraguay, he is been so obsessed about buying a camera phone and also being a Television star. Once he gets a job to deliver 7 boxes with some unknown content for 100$ which is enough to buy a phone. But the deal is that, he will only get the money once he finish the job. Things get messy along the way and unknowingly he becomes a part of crime.

Its a full of chaos thriller with some unpredictable turns and good performance. Good choice for those who explore something different.

Sahana and Karan are young couples who lives in Mumbai City leading a middle class life. The story of the movie portrays the changes happens to the smooth going life of them and becomes rocky when Sahana got pregnant. It shows how they manage their parenthood along with the jobs, EMI's and meeting the work deadlines.

A realistic and genuine approach to the issues and challenges faced by young couples in marriage life. Kalki and Sumeet both did a really good job as Sahana and Karan, it was a perfect choice for Kalki.

Uriyadi (2020)

Uriyadi is a tells the story of a burglary happens in police quarters during the Onam Celebrations. The rest of the story deals the strategy used by police officers to find the burglar. Its an average fun ride filled with some unstable comedies. Its also throws a light to some social issues happens in the department.

With some better comedies and actors, Uriyadi could have been a better cinema experience.

Sanjay and Karina are two youngsters, who works in a same bank and dreaming of having a own apartment. Due to various circumstances and personal issues their dream been held back. Film narrates the story of their struggles for buying a flat in joint housing scheme and problems they faces to get it sanctioned as an unmarried couples.

Films also makes us realise that how much a 550sq.ft house is important for a middle class family, dream of having their own home in urban life. Both Vicky Kaushal and debutant Angira Dhar did a fabulous job in this as lead roles. Its a good to watch, Netflix and Chilling experience bollywood Rom-Com which is beautifully sets in Mumbai City.

Its an incredibly beautiful movie about food and friendship. Each and every frames of this film are so beautifully and perfectly blended with the plot. Director is 100% succeed in brilliantly capturing the beauty of country side living and making it into delightful treat to the viewers

Its a story of a young woman who left her part-time job and returns to her village after being tired of city life. She miss the home food and taste of her Mom's cooking, she try's to recreate those dishes. Each and every dish she cooks will increase our appetite and urge us to make something special. Its a well balanced flick and a feast for our mind and eyes.

Lynn is a brilliant student from a middle class family, she earned a high school scholarship in prestigious school. When she realize that the school taking additional fees from his dad despite of free scholarship, Lynn started helping her friends in cheating exams by creating some codes using her piano skills in exchange of money. Later she use her skills to cheat some international exams for big ransom.

Its an amazing edge of the seat teenage suspense thriller which is inspired from some true events during SAT Test. A perfect combination of brilliant script, casting and superb music.

Zain & Yonas you guys stole my heart

As the English translation of the title itself, its a story of broken city with full of chaos. The movie evolves around 12 year old boy Zain, Yonas (toddler) and some illegal immigrants who lives in the slums of Beirut. Movie starts with Zain filing a complaint against his parents for bringing him to this world of miseries and poverty.

Its a brilliant piece of work and Zain did a stunning performance, especially his relation with Yonas. This is a very heart touching story which will definitely leave you with tears.

Highly recommended, must watch.

Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar) is an engineering graduate who takes up a job as a Panchayat secretary in a village of Uttarpradesh, as he couldn't get any other job in MNC's. The story is about various issues he faces and unavoidable problems of living in a rural village.

Its hilariously beautiful show which takes us to souls of real india. All the charcters are very well made and everyone did a great job especially Jithendra Kumar, Neena Gupta and Ragubir Yadav.

All episodes are less than 35 minutes only. Its a worth watch for anyone who looks for something light hearted.

"Based on a Fake Story"

Since Vivek and Ann got married, Vivek never met his college best buddies and he always missed them a lot. So Ann plans a surprise get together on their wedding anniversary in their old fashioned bungalow which is rumoured as a haunted one. The story is about the problems they face during their stay.

Even though 80% of the movie is filled with all cliches in usual horror flicks, the suspenseful climax and twist in the story make it a one time watch. Characters were played by a bunch of new comers, except the male protagonist everyone else did a decent job. Like all his previous movies, Sugeeth filled this one also with aesthetically appealing visuals and frames.

Its a worth one time watch for those who looking something different.

Paatal Lok (2020– )

Amazing

A dark & intense crime thriller which showcase the aspects of religion, casteism and politics of real India. Initial episodes starts with a slow pace and the things get heated up later. Even though the climax and twist in the story are predictable, the script, casting and making of this series make is a outstanding one.

Amazing performance by Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Banerjer & Swastika Mukherjee.
