I loved absolutely everything about this movie.

The writing and story line were riveting, the acting which was incredible, the sets, the cinematography, the creative characters and puppetry were incredibly all spectacular! The star studded cast added to the greatness of this on your seat science fiction work of art. I haven't seen such a creative cinematic work of art in a long time, if ever, to this extent. Seems there was nothing spared in the creativity & ingenuity in the set design, kudos to those who pulled this feat off. Cannot wait to tell everyone who like great cinema to watch, and make sure you pop some corn!!!

Barefoot in the Park (1967)

Annoying

Jane Fonda's character has to be one of the most annoying, obnoxious, and psycho characters ever to appear in a movie. Supposed to be a comedy, but I don't get it, what am I missing here? Robert Redford's acting is superb. Jane Fonda acting is childish and like I said above, obnoxious character, and obnoxious acting. From the second the movie starts, she appears to be an extra clingy, annoying, newlywed, such a turn off, had to force myself to watch the rest of it, giving it a chance, and it did not get any better. If this movie were made today it would be ridiculed and would be the biggest joke of the year. Of course, I don't think any legitimate actor would even take these rolls on.

If somebody asked me what this movie was about, I could not tell them. I did not understand anything. I did not understand the story, I did not understand the going back-and-forth, I did not understand why the new captain collapsed when they broke down the wall, I did not understand why the little boy was out on the ledge, I did not understand why the woman stuck a pen through her hand and they just never followed up about it, I didn't understand the purpose of Fred Astaire and the girl tap dancing, I did not understand why the guy had half of his face missing, I did not understand why they were staying overnight, I did not understand the old man in the bathtub that he shot, I didn't understand all the flashing of the lights on the camera... one big mess of scenes with no plot or objective. Oh, and the tarot cards? I could go on and on, but I still would not understand it.

Oh my gosh, the whole thing is a pity party for this woman. She's feeling sorry for herself. She marries a divorced man who has children, he has naked photos of wimsn on his computer, she is devastated, her whole life is destroyed, "he's a monster", I was a rolling my eyes so much. She has made charts and timelines of everything he has done. Get help. Get over it, get over yourself, and grow up and stay off of Facebook if you don't like people making comments. Not worth watching whatsoever. This woman is so narcissistic, self-centered, throwing one huge pity party for herself and to have wasted the time to make this nonsense is ridiculous. Let's move on to people who really get hurt.

Great Expectations (2023)

Best Adaptation Ever

Taking such a drab story and turning it into such a spectacular adaptation of one of Dickens most tired stories is extraordinary. The sets, the dialogue, the acting, all spot on. Olivia Coleman deserves a Emmy for her dramatic memorable role. The costume & set design is the best that movie making has, absolutely spot on evoking a deep feeling transporting you into Pip's world. The child actors have such big futures in show business the best acting that show business has to offee. There is absolutely nothing bad to be said about this adaptation. Bravo & spectacular!!! Had to binge watch. A MUST watch!!!

Cringeworthy Garbage

Perhaps the worst piece of garbage I have ever witnessed on television. I find these self important people to contribute absolutely zero importance to anything they touch. These people are so egotistical, ignorant, and arrogant, and at the same time their clothing and style choices are perhaps the most hideous ever recorded. Their dialogue is so elementary I was wondering if any of them graduated from grade school? None of them are attractive, not that that has anything to do with it, but you would think by their arrogance they would be the hottest men on earth. Oh holy hell, the most cringe worthy show ever to have graced the screen of my TV.

White Noise (I) (2022)

Oh my what have I just watched? I now have a throbbing headache, and my guilt level is really high from just wasting the past two hours of my life. How could anyone possibly make a movie as bad as this? What exactly was it about? Traffic accidents, traffic jams, warnings to not be outside to breathe the air yet everyone is outside breathing the air. The dialogue is possibly the most insanely dumb dialogue ever in the history of all dialogues. The acting is the worst. Story lines that go nowhere. And suddenly an over stylized set thrown in just because? Perhaps to distract from the acting, story, & dialogue.

Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)

Horrible.

Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. I sat through the entire thing, my nerves were wrecked by the end. It appears someone must've taken a hit of acid before they wrote this, totally impossible to follow, felt like it was going to trigger a seizure. And all the extraneous stuff, like the obsession with sticking things up peoples' butts, and butt plugs. That was just so out of place and weird because that did not fit into the storyline, and seems like it was just put there, like everything else in the movie, just because. I would imagine the actors, who seem to do a good job doing the impossible, probably did not know what the purpose of what they were doing was as everyone watching this insanely horrible movie. The only reason I gave it a two was for the actors. How anybody could've given it more than a two , I have no clue.

For a year I have been hearing all the hype around this 'beautiful' story and movie. I am so glad I waited until it came out on Netflix. I would suggest those of you who have trouble sleeping to go ahead and turn this movie on and lay down, poof, a half an hour later you will be sleeping like a baby. It took me three times to get all the way through it. I thought the acting was good and noteworthy thus my rating of four. The story is predictable and bland, we've seen it before, over & over & over. Very slow, even the music was enough to lull you to sleep, oh yes, Taylor Swift was involved, answers and adds a lot to the mediocrity of the music score. Yawn!

I got the impression from the script that it could have been written by a second grader. The storyline along with the shallow script and bad acting made this the biggest disappointment of a movie for me in all of 2022. So disjointed with very elementary one-line conversations and a story that was disjointed had me wanting it to be after sooner than later. The reoccurring dream sequences became only a place holder to stretch out the movie to an appropriate length but I would have been very happy with it ending 45 minutes earlier. Maybe they should have done a short film? All of the hype and drama about the movie before it came out was much more interesting than the movie itself. 😴 💤

I was totally bored to death by episode seven the whole series should've been over already. Yawn. Too many unrelated tangents. And the constant complaints about him being too old to fight back, and me screaming at the TV every chance he had to take his captor down. It was more aggravating than entertaining. By episode seven it was so boring that I almost decided just to stop watching because it was not going anywhere at all. I had me wishing I wouldn't have already invested my time into so many episodes, because I was beyond the point of no return to stop watching at this point. I suggest not to even watch it.

The Watcher (2022– )

So good.

Watched all seven episodes over a day. It was so good with just the amount of creepiness in it without it being a horror series. Mia Farrow was the best at pulling off the type of character most of have met if you've ever lived in a historical neighborhood!!! So many twists and turns and some of the best acting I've seen in a series in a very long time. Everything you hate about certain neighbors nosiness and overreaching is perfectly depicted. I like how there was no gratuitous sex or cussing over what you'd expect from the various scenes.

Also liked how you are hanging until the very end to find some things out yet since it is based on a true story how some were unsolved leaving your imagination to try to figure it out with all the info you were given! So good!

American Gigolo (2022)

Really loving this series, except for one small part. The woman who plays Isabel as an adult is an absolute horrible actress. Have not looked her up. Do not know what else she's been in, but there is just something really off about her acting. Not good. If we could erase her and replace her with someone else, I would give it a 10. The storyline is seamless, even with the flashbacks. The cinematography is spot on. There have been some shows lately where the lighting is too dark or the sound is to garbled this series is spot on with both of those. Jon Bernthal is really good and convincing at each stage of his life from the 1990's, to his prison years, to current time he has got it down! The actor playing him as a 15 year old has a huge career ahead of him, and I know he's in his 20's, because his acting is really good too.

Worst recipes ever.

Some of the grossest recipes ever. Really, homemade cheese whiz, microwaving avacados? I don't get it. And they say they're on their 30th season when the show didn't start till 2014. They all try to act like comedians which falls flat. How did this show last as long as it has? Absolutely horrible show. Not even sure why I gave it a 2, for effort I guess.

Unbelievably bad. If I could've given it zero stars I would have, however the one star that I ended up giving would have been for her cool apartment. I should've known in the first 30 minutes when she is dragging the trunk by the side without wheels, showing the star of the movie is a moron on top of being lame. Psycho guy with the neck goiter was hard to look at and listen to because of the nonsensical lines he had. A disaster of a movie all around.

Exceptional storytelling of what is very close to the truth. The acting is award quality. There is nothing bad I can say about this except the horrific subject matter that will bring to light the true and horror of this story to the masses.

A lot of fluff little music. There is so much talking and wasting of time, personally I love the two hosts, but on this, they are really aggravating and unnerving and unfunny and just downright ridiculously stupid. There are some really talented performers in this show, but the few minutes of songs in between a lot of nonsense is not very entertaining. I've been recording it and fast forwarding through everything except the songs, that's the way to watch this irritating nonsense!

So far the first episode is brilliant! Julia Roberts and Sean Penn the perfect picks for their roles. Julia and Sean both award winning performances. All the acting is superb. The writing is spot on. Let's hope all the future episodes are as spectacular as the first!

What kind of brain dead people watch this kind of crap? After watching an episode a few weeks ago, I was absolutely dumbfounded about how ridiculously stupid this show is. I would give it a minus rating if I could, Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy act like total morons, what is wrong with them??? For the health of humanity, please remove this crap off the air.

A bunch of nonsense to get wrapped up in and the story ends going absolutely nowhere with no answers to anything. Anybody can write a story like this with no plot, just a bunch of different stories with no answers and no rhyme no reason. Please don't waste your time watching this crap.

I can't get past one of the dumbest songs ever in the history of songwriting. And they keep singing it and singing it and singing it. Absolute garbage. And by the way, the dance "the Hoochie Coochie" was a sexual dance from the 1800s. I find absolutely nothing "sexual" about this movie, actually just opposite. So very overrated. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and don't.

The Kindness of Strangers (2019)

Beautiful movie

Definitely named for what the story portrayed. The goodness of people in this story gave me goosebumps and tears. Beautiful acting, great storytelling. Greatest good feel movie in a long time! Love it.

What language is this

What language is this? Can't understand very much of the dialogue. These parents had a million times to get away, fight back, grab the gun, grab the steering wheel, and didn't. The perpetrator had a gun in his lap not even touching it and the father just looked at it. It's almost as if they wanted their boys and themselves to be killed, they did absolutely nothing to try to stop it. This movie was more aggravating than anything else.

Jake Gyllenhaal's character is the most annoying person in history. They would never put someone so psychologically fragile in a 911 dispatch position. Possibly one of the most annoying movies I've struggled to watch till the end.
