The League (2009)
Great Series, Love it!
This series ranks as one of my favorites. Rescue me, Always Sunny, Now this...FX gets it. I've only seen the 1st two episodes and I have to say my buddies and I are hooked. Even my buddies agree that this is so funny. Mild profanity but nothing bad, and great characters. Well written, I cant wait for next week.
The ladies are super hot and the guys have lives other that fantasy football. This runs contrary to the belief of others that fantasy players and have no lives. We can enjoy playing it while carrying on a normal life.
Even if I didn't play fantasy football I'd watch this series. Im 42 and a professional male...I wonder if I'm the demographic or not?

Some Kind of Wonderful (1987)
This was the worst movie made
This show flat out sucked. It was about a geekish guy with no clue he was a goober. I don't know what it was supposed to represent? He buys his set up date a stupid, expensive present? To look important??? THe show made no sense and I've watched it several times because of a tough guy character Eric Stolz meets in detention hall This tough guy is great and saved me from capping myself!! His tomboy, skank, smoking Joe girl that secretly loves him is a freaky one too. The characters all look like they are in their 30's. The ending is average and predictable. I wont spoil the ending, the movie is spoiled enough I have seen a lot of movies from this genre, and outside of St. Elmos Fire this is by far the worst. Don't waste your time on this!!
Everybody's All-American (1988)
Excellent Pure football movie.
The story of Gavin Grey, while fiction, sums up the pure aspect of football. Before multi-million dollar contracts and big endorsements. There were athletes who just loved to play football. This movie shows the ride. Thats what you are on when you are the best. People treat you differently, want to be with you and everyone knows who you are. If you ever wondered what its like to be the star or captain of the football team watch this movie. It brought back so many memories that I would rewind parts to get a familiar feeling again. The movie smoothly moves through different parts of his life and was well directed. Footage is of high quality and action sequences are well done. This movie is an emotional roller coaster. And will appeal to men and women alike.
One of my favorites.
Boston Legal (2004)
Funniest Show on TV....
OK, OK, Rescue Me is the funniest show, but Boston Legal is right there with it. William Shatner's "Denny Crane" and James Spader's "Alan Shore" had to be written just for them..They both are perfect in their roles, which feed off of each other and fuels the show's great dialog..Some of the cases seem a little far-fetched, but if you watch the news you see lawsuits or crimes that are even crazier than whats on Boston Legal. All of the characters have been cast VERY well...My only complaint is a few people have left the show that were very good and fit the show well. Rhona Mitra, a beautiful English brunette...who was Spaders girlfriend on the show left "for England" a few other ladies left, but all in all you cant go wrong with this show. make it a regular watch...you wont regret it!
Nov 2007. This years cast of females is not as smart/sexy as in years past, but the addition of John Larroquette is perfect! Still a #1 show!
The Postman (1997)
Very good show...
I really like this show...It is an interesting twist on a nuclear aftermath. Kevin Costner is a very good actor and portrays a man who is drifting around and acts like a Postman to get into a camp for some food and shelter. He then falls deeper and must confront what he does not want. This story takes place in the northwest so the towns are surrounded by woods and mountains. Beautiful scenery... Of course there are militia types who are bad guys But this is no Mad max or Road Warrior type show. There are a couple of cool cameos and the show really picks up speed after the first half hour or so, but you get into it and start to see characters develop, and people come together.. It is a longer movie, but well worth watching.
