First episode of the new season, so big expectations here from a big fan of the series.But I think Black Mirror let me down on this episode.
You could see that ending coming from miles away, so it was not as shocking as the other Black Mirror episodes I've seen, even considering the theme. Speaking of that, sure, the whole rating thing is horrible and probably no one would want to live that, but what about the ones who "hate the system"? Where are they? It just sounds too strange to me that in such a society there is no one getting high rates from swearing and doing "bad" things. We have that even in the years we're living in. Honestly, I'd loved the episode if the plot was more similar to the "Fifteen Million Merits" one, from season 1.
Really liked the very end scene though, felt really liberating. Oh and the lead actor was killing it, love her.
