But Always (2014)
10/10
Predictable but acting was great!
5 February 2024
It's a love story, so it's fairly predictable... even the ending. However, the story was touching and the acting from Nicholas Tse and Gao Yuan Yuan was superb (this is coming from someone who's not a fan of Nicholas Tse's movies)! I watched several of Gao Yuan Yuan's movie but none have been impressive as this one.

This movie may be somewhat predictable but unique in how this romance was tied in to one of America's historic tragedies.

There were some political overtones but that derives from the backgrounds of both of the characters and is somewhat expected. The icon scenery of New York in the early 1990s brought back fond nostalgic memories.

Supergirl (2015–2021)
1/10
Jimmy Olsen ruined the show
8 December 2015
The actor who played Jimmy Olsen has no chemistry whatsoever with Supergirl. Forget the fact, that they made Jimmy Olsen a black dude and changed the storyline, but they had to get someone who couldn't act. If they wanted to add an African American in the show they could've have added another character instead. Why make Jimmy Olsen black, why not Philipino or Mexican? They took too much liberty in changing the story line. They should have instead added to the storyline instead of changing it. For example, Hank Henshaw was a good addition to the show and the actor who played him does a very good job. But every time there's a scene with Supergirl and Jimmy Olsen, all you really see is awkwardness.
