MacGyver: The Coltons (1991)
Season 7, Episode 5
10/10
excellent episode.
8 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Was it a spin off? It should have been. Not sure what abc's reason for not picking it up was, but going to speculate. Mr. Littleton died in 92, and somewhere around same time, touched by an angel premiered. I'm going to guess, maybe out of respect to one of the team dieing maybe they decided not to pursue it. Plus richard dean anderson was involved in stargate in nezt year or two. I'm going to guess either mr littletons death was an issue, or abc like so many networks waited so long to make a decision the other's already had stuff to do and thus weren't available. That's my guess. Don't believe me? Ncis los angelos had a proposed spin off red something. Supposedly according to some sources the main character john something was written specifically for the actor who played him in the back door pilot. Cbs took so long to make a decision on it, by the time they did he was no longer available and poof no spinoff. Shame to it looked like it was a good idea.

nap time for the lady
1 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Casey did a better job on her chloroforming than the girl from previous year. Though the actor in the other scene look like he grabbed her nose so hard he almost broke it. Miss casey on the other hand truned right back into him and gave the camera a nice eye roll before they cut the scene. Not sure what was with the change of costume just for a nap but dress was pretty and her tying her little bow was a cute touch too.

Diagnosis Murder: Hard-Boiled Murder (1997)
Season 4, Episode 17

oddest cross over of tv shows at least up till that time.
29 July 2022
I remember watching this episode. Was a huge fan of series. What seems odder though was that for some reason (i can't remember why now) i watch the mannix episode EARLIER THAT DAY! I wasn't a fan of mannix so i'm not sure through the adverts for this episode i put it together or maybe they were advertising it as what it was a crossover 25 years in the making. I don't remember now, been to many years ago. I rarely if ever watched mannix so there must have been a reason. The odder part of the whole thing which is why i think the channlel i saw mannix on that day did it for this cross over, was about 3 4 months later they reaired it. Not current to a rerun of diagnosis murder the same night again. I didn't think much of it at the time, just thought it was odd. Given the fact mannix lasted 6 or 7 years, i'm assuming one was aired on purpose the way it was, and the other aired later in the "normal" rotation it would have aired (meaning that episode was up next based on airing them in the correct order). That network that i think was tv land but might be remembering wrong like me tv aired stuff in the original order at least to the point they had episodes for. (ie gunsmoke only some seasons, bonanza just the ones with adam, etc.) i don't think tv land and cbs are or were owned by same people so not sure how this got coordinated but thought it was pretty cool. I know somebody recently said that the top gun movie just barely set a new record between original movie and sequel, (forgot what other movie had just set it a few months earlier but it was only by like 2 years less than the top gun series) and now i wonder if this is the longest time between a original episode and the 2nd part (more or less) finale/ crossover of all time. Usually crossovers air on same night, consecutive nights, consecutive weeks, and in modern era with mid seasons finales, occasionally months, NOT 20+ YEARS! I guess now that we're 25 years past this do we do something now with barry van dyke as a cross over with this show now?

bullying and why it'll never be done away with it.
30 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
And no i don't want to hear well it's the army and the one character is "Just a private". He had good reason not to get back into a ring and i doubt alot of boxers would have felt any different. GIving him bs duty just because you can is still bullying when you spend 90% of the movie bascially telling the audience if he'd just box this would stop. I'd give this a negative rating but i can't since they dont' allow it.

GOOD MOVIE
4 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
AM a bit confused though. if everybody was exonerated and assumedly pardoned for all the first 4 seasons why was this murder charge not included. of course "conveniently" the evidence is a set up. which makes for a good movie plot, but why is the charge even brought up and for that matter in the movie it's never once argued why the charge was. if she and the tohers were cleared with all todo with the first 4 seasons that should have been included. other than the fact they say that nobody knows the woman was company they never really address this issue. the many plot holes is why I can only give this movie a 5. \

Desperado (1987 TV Movie)
great movie series
1 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Haven't seen this or most of others since originally came out in the 80's. for some reason western channel only shows last few. outlaw years wars and badland justice. Too bad as I recall was a great series despite the fact the violence was down played being made by family challenge. I assume the series was finished when pat Robertson sold the old family channel/cbn. to bad everybody loved the series and like most series of all time you never get a proper conclusion to the on going story.

favorite episode.
8 March 2018
Love how harriet get's her comeuppance. love the scene between jack ging and jonathan gilbert where willie's asking for rachels hand in marriage. Something tells me that jack was enjoying that scene a bit to much. Good episode and a bit of hilarity too.

great book movie sucked worse than anything ever put on TV or in theaters.
29 April 2016
if i could give this movie a negative score i would. One example of the book being greater than the movie. The books is great. the movie brought up the standard for sucking. A friend who has rad the book and heard about the movie says i should cut it a break because hallmark made it and kept it family friendly. OK i get that. But why hasn't anybody tried to do a remake? do it like north and south and do it as a miniseries. anything but this travesty of the book. They didn't have benteen, they didn't have custer actually do much, the actor while most of them are good actors didn't really do the movie justice. do this as a mini series or not as a hall Mark movie i'd of given it a 10 out of 10. And don't even get me started on no battle scene. that would have made the movie from great to among best of all time.
