Mexican Soap Opera: The Movie
17 January 2018
The early days of Mexican cinema saw great movies being made... By the time the 90sof the last century arrived that era was long gone. This movie shows why.

If you are nostalgic about the 90s, don't tune it for this movie, it didn't take me more than a fewscenes to hate the womanizer, his naive slut of a victim and this victim's false friend who wouldn't tell her that the womanizer had made a move on her, a ridicuous one at that (passing his toes over her leg under the table and pulling him to give her the worst kiss ever, one where only lips meet, as his girlfriend was distracted. And they are cool because they play with their fingers as if they were guns... Yea, this is crap.

Lucy (I) (2014)

Luc Besson was hijacked by an idiot
19 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
10 % myth. Bringing the suitcase to the client instead of getting a locksmith or something to brake the chain (she already had extra 500 dollars) and then bring the suitcase to the cops. drug makes her all mighty, others who know how to make that drug pursue her instead of using the drug for themselves by making more. A professor claims that cells can be immortal and speaks about the 10% myth and is still a professor. I forgive this one but the guy must be really idiotic to say that the first human was named Lucy as in, her name when she was alive was Lucy and related stupidity. Lucy lets the mobsters life, but kills the person in the hospital bed, kills the taxi driver, kills random people on cars during the car chase. She recommends organic food. The cops are pursuing her but suddenly turn on her side (ok, maybe it is because they found the mobsters first, but they were very unsuccessful getting ready for the mobsters). We could make a drink-every-time-something-is-idiotic-in-this-movie game, but it would be lethal to the players.

The Last Man on Earth (2015–2018)

Unexpected ¿dark humour? This is vantablack humour! Yet endearing and feels real
28 September 2016
Warning: Spoilers
The first review I've read about this series said it had received negative reviews... I wonder why... It shouldn't! I remember going through the 1st season hating the "protagonist" but being forced to see more, maybe I wanted to see him die... But I grew fond of his antics, and the issues is this, he's a fool, but a fool that grows from unlikeable to caring.... But no more comments on him, the show does not take much time to become an ensemble cast, although you soon realize the ensemble's composition is dynamic, with vantablack humour anyone can die... There's drama, there's tragedy and there's comedy... All canned into the last survivors in the US... (No way to tell if the last survivors in the world, but we are told they are)... The concept isn't extremely new, earth is devastated and only one person is left to walk among the remains... Well, it gets a slight twist... There is more than one survivor, an oddball is among them and the cataclysm has, so it seems, affected all animals, each exception is deemed a miracle.
