A Man on a Mission and a Mission on a Man
28 July 2023
This was bitter sweet, but such an amazing movie! Doc and Jackson never fail to entertain! It ends where it all began. They answered some big questions but left enough room for future projects. I laughed so hard many times throughout the movie. The Monarch and Gary together always get themselves into situations that never turn out quite like they expected. Their antics are hilarious. We also get to see more of the Triad. It's a shame they couldn't have done a whole season, but they managed to make an awesome movie. If you're reading this and haven't bought the movie, buy it now or eat the pennies, Quizboy! 😉

A Ghost Story (2017)

Not For Everyone.
6 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is definitely not for everyone. It is very slow moving without much dialog. However, it is one of rhe best movies I've seen. It is very emotional in it's simplicity.

It is a tale of a man who dies and returns as a ghost to the home he shares with his wife. Time passes. We see life move on for the living, but for the man, time has stopped . He watches his wife leave a note in the wall before she finally moves away. He desperately wants to read the note and tries to remove it from the wall. The note is an emotional attachment to his wife and thus an emotional attachment to the house they shared together. She leaves but he stays there, trying to get to the note in the wall. I know people have commented that this movie boring or trying to be too artsy, but I think it's really about human experience and letting go of the people we love. Give the movie a chance. I hope you enjoy, too.

Darling (II) (2015)

Excellent Thriller
16 July 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is a psychological thriller and a great one. The story and setting are simple which makes it even more interesting as well as the black and white film. The trouble with 'Darling' becomes apparent later in the movie. The acting is fantastic! Darlings descent into madness is beautifully drawn out through her isolation and only periodic phone calls from her employer. Whether her madness was brought on by the possible demonic activity in the house or her own past mental inability is unclear but it only adds to the mystery. There is also the possibility that the man she encounters meerly resembles that of a man from her past that she feels necessary to take out revenge on for what he did to her in the past.
