The Diplomat (2023)
Homeland-vibes
After starting watching the night agent, and stopping after 10 minutes. I wasn't sure if I wanted to start another Netflix-show. I don't understand why so many like the night agent to be honest, bad plot and bad actors. This show, however, got me hooked right away. Really good actors and an exciting, yet realistic storyline. That's the same elements which got me hooked on Homeland, and that show is my number one favorite. Therefore I compare every show in the spy genre with homeland (unfair- maybe, but I can't help it). This time I didn't get disappointed by doing so, on the contrary. I got a homeland-vibe from this show, and I love it. Season 2 please!
Game of Thrones: The Queen's Justice (2017)
Why do the bad guys always win?
It was a good episode, but I have to admit the bad guys always winning is starting to make me a little bit crazy. Olenna Tyrell was one of my favorite characters from the first moment I saw her. Caring and witty, and a strong female character. I've learnt that this show doesn't think twice before killing people off, but this death still made me very sad.
Why do "they" always let Cersei win? I know she has lost three kids, but still. Her victories and vengeance are many, her losses are few. The good guys loose over and over again, Cersei wins. She gets to wipe out families. The Tyrells, the Martells and so on.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (2017)
Would have given it a 10 but...
It's way too short! Such a fun game. Beautiful scenery, amazing story and tons of girl power. I also loved the surprise character showing up. Really hope they make another game with Chloe and Nadine. Maybe one where you can chose who you want to play as.
The Rookie: Five Minutes (2021)
Oh come on
Used to be one of my favorite shows, now it's just hysterical unrealistic. In the first episode they manages to pull of a rescue mission against a long time drug boss. In the second episode they all of a sudden manages to stop a mastermind thief, wanted for 20 years? Come on...
The Good Wife: End (2016)
So disappointed
No no no... I've loved this show through all its seasons and it became my favorite show. But the ending is extremely disappointing. Maybe it all boils down to if you like Alicia or not, I liked her.
Yes, she has done some bad things, but she has also experienced a lot of bad things herself, so can we blame her? It's so weird of the show to give their main character an ending like this. Did she really deserve to end up alone?
I wish it ended with Alicia and Diane being friends, maybe name partners in their powerful all women-firm. Or Alicia getting her revenge on Frank Landau, finally becoming state's attorney. Why had the final "message" be Alicia not being the good wife anymore, couldn't it instead be; now it's her turn?
