senseless but sometimes a little funny

There's no story here, its just a sequence of dumb inconsequential events leading to nowhere, the plot alone is stupid or at least not explored deeply enough.....

The comedy is there and really funny at time but its not enough to carry the whole childishly written story, i have repeatedly found my self questioning who the target audience is because the intelligence behind this show is in the single digits......

Overall its not annoying but in the end it all feels like a total waste of time, id only recommend you watch this if you really have nothing else to watch and you are tired of sleeping.....

Echo (2023–2024)

There's no story here...

Its almost like they didn't think it through and its obvious that it was butchered in editing because nothing makes sense.. The main character is just a bag of plot armor going from one point to the next in a series of senseless and pointless events. The characters behave irrationally and lack depth and purpose, they are basically just plot devices. Echo's powers don't make sense at all.

Its a total waste of time that you cant just play in the background, it requires your full attention because of the unnecessary heavy sign language dialogue, you'd think they would focus more on "show, don't tell"....

Overall, you are better off just watching a review on YouTube...

Legacies (2018–2022)

I have watched The vampire Diaries, The Originals and Legacies back to back and the drop in quality is irrefutable. Legacies is trash, its pure torture that I have to force my self to watch and it doesn't get better, it gets more stupid with every episode...

The writing in legacies suffers from poor event driven plot where things just happen with little to no development or internal logic, to a lesser degree this started in the later seasons of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals but in Legacies its severely chronic.

The magic system is a lazy hot mess and the school which is the foundation for this series is fundamentally flawed and senseless..

The relationships are rushed and weird and sometimes uncomfortable considering that these are supposed to be 16 year olds.

There are lots of great ideas behind this series but there's also a lot of poor execution of said ideas that severely cripple the entertainment value of this series..

It's also not a 10 star show but so far its watchable and has potential..

I have never really watched Rebels and Clone wars, saw a couple of episodes here and there, so I'm coming in to this with basically next to zero knowledge and would have appreciated some flashbacks since they keep referencing back to the animations.

Three episodes in, and its just blend, slow and boring but its not annoying like Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian season 3. Though they keep approaching the threshold a little with characters punching robots, surviving light saber impalement and fighting space ships with light sabers in outer space...

Liar Liar (2023)

Its all over the place, the mechanics of the world are mediocre and beyond senseless.

The plot just jumps around all over the place with no sense of direction and you are along for the boring ride with some random childish comedy here and there, it thinks of its self smart but its not.

The premise had potential, but there is a major lack of basic intelligence behind the writing, rendering the whole show lazily boring....

The world revolves around the main character is a moron who can only win with the assistance of some pretty girls, formulaic AF.

The stupid games lack imagination... it looks nice sometimes but its nothing to write home about... Anime quality has gone to hell in recent years..

watch "Darwin_s Game" instead of this waste of time nonsense...

Peter Pan & Wendy (2023)

Cheap and Boring

Don't ask questions, just consume product an get excited for next product....

Things just happen in this movie and are barely explained, just hand waved away. Its like the writers expect you to know the original story but then if you know the original story you are guaranteed to be annoyed by the changes they have made for the so called "modern audience"....

The cast is alright from my point of view, not perfect just good enough, the problem is the writing and the overall production value, it lacks entertainment value, I didn't feel the magic....

The common excuse is that its for children but I wouldn't recommend showing this to children....

86 (2021–2022)

Overrated and overall boring

It's top of the line beautiful quality animation full of pointless emotional drama, they know when to queue the piano and violins, unfortunately due to that, the other parts of the story suffer from a lack of attention to detail..

The world building is extremely poor, to a point were the world mechanics does not make sense at all...

The action is subpar and boring, the world feels small because the story is hyper focused on teenage drama and death.. it dwells way too much on the effects and less on the cause in other to capitalize on drama and tear jerking...

It feels like it was written by an algorithm, it lacks purpose....

By the Grace of the Gods (2020–2023)

Nose dived into mediocre...

The first couple of episodes are really good (9/10 stars) I must admit, but overall the whole series is a childish (5/10 stars)

It really starts strong with a well developed magic system, a well written story, a lot like an overly diluted lazy version of "that time I got reincarnated as a slime"

Unfortunately a couple of episodes in (episode 7 to be precise) it degrades into repetitive pointless manipulative nonsense the writing takes a nose dive when the plot starts hyper focusing on the business and starts going around in circles, its going nowhere.

The baby-ish voices and dialogue gets annoying, 11 years old is not that young, they gave a subpar reason but it doesn't hold up, everyone is so unreasonably polite that the story lacks any form of tension and the main character apologizes way too much for no reason.

Reincarnated as a Sword (2022– )

starts off good and then descends into dumb rubbish..

It starts off pretty good like your average isekai with a little twist... Its an interesting premise with lots of potential.....

The animation style holds up, the action is pretty good, there's intelligence behind the magic system, the only problem I have is that the plot is driven by stupidity, especially after episode 6, its stupid out of character decision and behavior's left right and center with a side dish of retcons here and there.....

The writing suffers from laziness and stupidity which gets annoying especially given the potential, its like intelligent people wrote only 6 episode and then gave up and handed it over to morons......

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation (2021– )

It has a story to tell

It is a well written, well developed isekai, and I would rank it amongst the best anime ever. It makes most isekai out there look like armature parody in comparison....

It is a real tearjerker, with good emotional scenes and story arcs.

It is filled with well written and intelligent drama, the action sequences are well executed and epic....

Actions have consequences and the characters mostly behave like "real people" reacting to situations rationally and reasonable....

The plot is sad but there's positivity and life lessons.

Its adult themed but not excessive in my opinion

It has its relatively weak and annoying moments especially in early episodes of part two but they are very few and easily forgivable....

It is like an action packed slice of life isekai. I like the fact that the protagonist is smart and powerful but still has room to grow...

Talentless Nana (2020)

Overrated, pretentious, annoying, pointless rubbish..

Its like a lazy mix between The promised neverland and Death note, made for "don't ask questions, just consume product and get excited for next product" kind of people...

The poor writing, underdeveloped world building, poor character development and military grade plot armor results in a nonsensical story without rhyme or reason, the whole season is just filled with idiots running around and dying without consequences...

Most of the characters are unbelievably ignorant and stupid and show zero concern in the presence of pending death the whole idea behind the island doesn't make a lick of sense....

I fully understand the idea behind this anime and it really had potential but the execution was so poor that it comes off as annoying as it can be and ultimately unsatisfying...

I'm sorry but anyone who gives this show high ratings and praises is just as ignorant and dumb as the children on that island...

Log Horizon (2013–2021)

pretentious nonsense

The plot had potential and is really interesting but the story does not go deep enough to address and develop the plot on a serious note, it often feels like there are no stakes and you are just watching pointless side quests which ultimately feels like a total waste of time....

Like Hello! Hundreds of thousands of people trapped in a game, can we focus more on that instead of things like the not so funny "cute ninja" nonsense...

The protagonist is not smart, everyone else is just unreasonably stupid..

Sword Art Online is somewhat trash especially after season 2 but at least they had the guts to deal with the physical and mental side effects of being trapped inside a game, in log horizon they just brush it off as if its no big deal, everybody just accepts it and move on....

Darwin's Game (2020)

ONE OF THE BEST ANIME EVER!..

It's well written and produced, the animation is beautiful, the action is awesome and the story is captivating and satisfying. The only downside to this anime is that its too short, 11 or 12 episodes is not enough, especially when the story is this good...

It's not merely trying to entertain you, it's trying to tell a story that is entertaining, hence the is intelligence and internal logic behind the story...

Anime like this is rare, most of it is senseless fan service with teasing story threads that never amount to anything apart from leading you on with delusions of grandeur...

This is one of the best anime from my point of view...

1899 (2022)

Mystery without resolution is pointless

If you like conclusive logical stories, this is not for you. Its so deep that it fails to dig its self out. Every bit of information brings more questions than answers and brakes internal logic to deepen the mystery...

Most people who like this series think they are more intelligent, but the reality is that they are victims of dopamine, every episode is full of nonsense drama and at the end they give you a bit of information (dopamine hit) that doesn't explain anything, so you keep on watching waiting for another dopamine hit ...

I watched the whole season 1 and its a total waste of time, it had potential and an interesting premise but it lacks focus, it should have been 4 episodes long at best, but its bloated with back stories of characters just to pad out the runtime..

Black Adam (2022)

Simple straight forward solid action packed superhero movie.....

Its simple to make a good superhero movie, imagine a kid playing with action figures and ''shazam!'' You have a blueprint for a good and potentially great superhero movie, somewhere along the way Hollywood lost this fundamental basic idea, Black Adam goes back to formula and I loved every moment of it and in my opinion Black Adam is way better than Shazam!.....

Id recommend this movie and its re-watchable.....

There's no such thing as superhero movie fatigue, fans are tired of fan-baiting.... real fans are still hungry for more good superhero movies and Black Adam is a good superhero movie hands down....

Bleach (2004–2023)

OVERRATED

Its pretentious, childish and lacks internal logic, the whole series is 70% filler. The magic system and power levels are often negated by plot, like how the main character, more than often suddenly gains enough power to defeat the bad guy simply because the arc is about to conclude, basically he is weaker than everybody and stronger than everybody at the same time.

Most of the characters are annoying especially after the soul society arc...

This show is nowhere near the level of Naruto Shippuden and Dragon ball Z it miserably pales in comparison.

The positive is that it has interesting world building, the fights are visually entertaining, I like the sword stuff but other than that its a senseless total waste of time and emotionally taxing...

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)

What are she hulks powers, what is the internal logic here?.

If she hulk can go behind the scenes and rewrite the "ending", what prevent her or another character from doing the same thing given the fact that all these things are happening in the same "universe", the stupidity and logic shattering comedy that happens in this show bleeds out across the entire MCU, now what are stakes and whats the point?, to mindlessly clap and laugh at senseless moving images?, to mindlessly "consume product and get excited for next product"?, what is the damn point?.

The biggest mistake Marvel/Disney made was to link the series to the movies and create one giant illogical (beyond suspension of disbelief) universe, I used to hate the fact that Agents of Shield never crossed over to the Avengers Movies, now I understand.

The Sandman (2022– )

OVERRATED TO INFINITY

Starts off with potential, I enjoyed the first couple of episode but it takes a nosedive straight into nonsense after episode 5.

Suspension of disbelieve can only take you so far, at some point the story needs some solid in-world logic.

I got confused and bored then lost interest in episode 7.

What a waste...
